  • Publication number: 20240149281
Abstract: Apparatus, system, and method for separating gas from a composite fluid. The apparatus includes a main body defining a flow path formed from a separations chamber at an upstream end of the flow path and a head space chamber at the downstream end of the flow path. The main body includes a first set of apertures disposed about the separations chamber and a second set of apertures disposed about the head space chamber. An agitator is housed within the main body at an upstream end of the separations chamber and is configured to generate a vortex that conveys the composite fluid through the flow path. The vortex expels a liquid fraction and a solids fraction of the composite fluid from the first set of apertures, and the vortex conveys a gaseous fraction of the composite fluid into the head space chamber for extraction from the second set of apertures.

  • Patent number: 9066006
Abstract: Disclosed herein are an image photographing device that includes a display unit displaying a preview image and a control method thereof. The image photographing device includes a judgment unit that judges whether or not lens blind has occurred and a photographing control unit that executes photographing after a predetermined time following an input of a photographing execution command has elapsed, if the judgment unit judges that lens blind has occurred. Even if a user shields a lens by his/her hand during a process of touching the screen of the display unit or pressing a photographing button to execute photographing, photographing is executed after the user's hand has moved out of the visual field of the lens, and thus an image desired by the user may be obtained without disturbance due to lens blind.

  • Patent number: 6273819
Abstract: A hand held electronic game having sensors requiring the user to perform functions similar to those required during the activity simulated by the game. In a hand held electronic bowling game, both finger-movement sensors and game-moving sensors require the user to grip and swing the game housing much like swinging a bowling ball while finger-receiving sensors measure movement in the fingers and game housing-movement sensors measure the forcefulness and speed of the user's swing with the ball. The sensors include printed circuit boards and the game-moving sensor can utilize a LED and a photodiode along with a periodically transparent extension, which moves between the LED and the photodiode to determine the force of the swing by centrifugal force.
