  • Patent number: 11973646
Abstract: Techniques for adapting workflows based on commonality with others are provided. It is detected that a workflow server connected to a network is being configured via a user interface to create a workflow. The workflow includes detecting a trigger via a sensor in the network and causing an action to execute at a device in the network in response to the trigger. The workflow being created is compared to a previously created workflow to generate a score that indicates a degree of similarity between the workflow being created and the previously created workflow. Upon verifying that the score satisfies a predefined condition, at least one feature of the previously created workflow that is not currently included in the workflow being created is selected. The user interface is signaled to display an indication to propose that the feature be included in the workflow being created.

  • Patent number: 11720375
Abstract: Techniques for generating a user interface (UI) for a public safety user are provided. An event trigger may be received at a computing device associated with a public safety user. The event trigger may be associated with a public safety event. Historical interaction with at least one UI object by the public safety user when handling previous event triggers of the same type as the received event trigger may be determined. The historical interaction may be retrieved from a historical UI interaction data store. UI objects that the public safety user may interact with to handle the received event trigger may be identified based on the determined historical interaction. A UI may be generated to handle the received event trigger, the UI to handle the received event trigger including the identified UI objects.

  • Publication number: 20230196031
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices of the present disclosure generate adaptive templates for different case types and leverage those templates to ascertain whether case files are sufficiently complete to support desired outcomes. The systems described herein can detect patterns in cases that have been marked as complete, add indicia of those patterns to the adaptive templates, and compare as-yet incomplete case files to the templates to identify and suggest specific types of data that can be added to the incomplete case files to increase the likelihood that those incomplete case files will contain sufficient data to support a desired outcome. Furthermore, the systems described herein are able to adapt the templates and the parameters used therein over time as laws and legal precedents evolve without being reprogrammed.

  • Patent number: 11640759
Abstract: Techniques for adapting workflows based on time to respond are provided. An electronic indication that a trigger has been detected by a sensor is received. The workflow server is configured to execute an action in a workflow in response to the trigger. An alert is sent to a device associated with a user to request a response from the user. Reception of the response is the action in the workflow. The response from the user is received. It is detected that a current response time for the trigger exceeds a threshold response time. A pattern that indicates response times for triggers of the trigger type recurrently exceed the threshold response time is detected. A proposed modification to the workflow or to a standard operating procedure (SOP) of an entity is generated. An electronic message is sent to a system administrator that recommends implementing the proposed modification.

  • Patent number: 11551324
Abstract: A device, system and method for role based data collection and public-safety incident response is provided. A computing device receives a call to report a public-safety incident. The computing device determines a role of a caller on the call, the role of the caller being relative to the public-safety incident. The computing device retrieves, from one or more memories, data dependent on the role of the caller. The computing device controls a notification device to provide the data dependent on the role of the caller.

  • Patent number: 11533709
Abstract: A device, system and method for transmitting notifications based on indications of effectiveness for previous notifications is provided. A public-safety answering point (PSAP) device transmits, to first communication devices, a first notification of a given type, associated with a first public-safety incident. The PSAP device, subsequent to transmitting the first notification, tracks indications of effectiveness of the first notification determined from one or more of: PSAP call traffic; locations and/or responses of the first communication devices and/or PSAP-related data retrieved from one or more servers external or internal to a PSAP system. The PSAP device transmits, to second communication devices, a second notification of the given type, the second notification associated with a second public-safety incident; one or more of the second notification and transmitting of the second notification being modified, relative to the first notification, based on the one or more indications of effectiveness.

  • Patent number: 10708429
Abstract: Methods and systems for improving a call queue at a dispatch center. One system includes an electronic computing device communicatively coupled to a first call workstation and a second call workstation. The electronic computing device includes an electronic processor configured to receive a first call, direct the first call to the first call workstation, analyze the first call for a key incident factor, calculate a first estimated call length based on the key incident factor, and determine, based on the first estimated call length, whether to assign a queued call, received at the electronic computing device after the first call, to the first call workstation or to the second call workstation.

  • Patent number: 10635720
Abstract: A device, system and method for generating geofences based on public-safety factors is provided. Responsive to receiving, via an input device, an input requesting formation of a public-safety geofence at a given location of a map rendered at the display screen, the device: retrieves public-safety factors from at least one public-safety information database; renders, at a display screen, at the given location of the map, a first public-safety geofence shaped and sized according to the factors; renders, at the display screen, respective indications of the factors. Responsive to receiving, via the input device, disabling input to disable a given factor represented by the respective indications of the factors, the device: disables the given factor; and replaces, at the display screen, at the given location of the map, the first geofence with a second public-safety geofence shaped and sized according to enabled factors which exclude the given factor as disabled.

  • Patent number: 10608929
Abstract: A method of routing communications from a mobile device to a target device. A non-whispered speech target device routing list and a whispered speech target device routing list are stored at a memory that is accessible by the mobile device. The mobile device identifies speech characteristics associated with a speech input and further determines whether the speech input corresponds to a whispered speech based on the speech characteristics. When it is determined that the speech input corresponds to a whispered speech, the mobile device routes communications corresponding to the speech input to each target device included in the whispered speech target device routing list. When it is determined that the speech input does not correspond to a whispered speech, the mobile device either routes or refrains from routing communications corresponding to the speech input to each target device included in the non-whispered speech target device routing list.
