Patent number: 7621198Abstract: A shift lever device for operation of a transmission of a vehicle having a plurality of shift ranges is provided which includes a lever main body, a housing that movably supports the lever main body, a light source provided at one of the housing and the lever main body; a knob mounted to a distal end portion of the lever main body, and having a transmitting portion, a light guiding portion provided at the knob and guiding light from the light source to the interior of the knob, and a light guiding control portion. The light guiding control portion includes a shutter member operatively connected to and movable with the lever main body which, when the lever main body is positioned at least at one specific shift position, does not block light from the light source to the knob transmitting portion, and which, when the lever main body is positioned at a position other than the specific shift position, is moved to a position blocking the light to the knob transmitting portion.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2004Date of Patent: November 24, 2009Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Tokai-Rika-Denki-SeisakushoInventors: Kenichi Kako, Noriyasu Shamoto, Isamu Matsushima, Keizo Fukuda, Teruaki Kitano

Patent number: 7554412Abstract: A phase locked loop (PLL) circuit automatically corrects the offset of the analog (especially active type) loop filter to improve the stability and precision of the locked clock or frequency signals. In addition to the general PLL circuit configuration having active type loop filter (30), the PLL circuit also has a frequency comparing circuit (42), a DAC controller (44) and a DAC (digital-to-analog converter) (46). In an offset measurement mode, the outputs of phase error detecting circuit (12, 14) and frequency error detecting circuit (18, 20) are cut, respectively, to establish locking in offset measurement locked loop (42, 44, 45, 30, 40). In this case, offset correction code (EDs) are identified and held. In normal mode, DAC controller (44) has offset correction code (ED) input to DAC (46), and DAC (46) sends offset correction signal (EAs) to loop filter (30).Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 2005Date of Patent: June 30, 2009Assignee: Texas Instruments IncorporatedInventors: Hiroaki Kojima, Isamu Matsushima

Patent number: 7472621Abstract: A shift device includes a housing, a shift lever, a sensor unit. The shift lever is moved forward and rearward, and leftward and rightward of the shift device for selecting the connection state of the transmission of a vehicle. The sensor unit is attached to the housing. The sensor unit includes a first MRE element, a second MRE element, a light sensor, a first microswitch, and a second microswitch, which are integrated. The first MRE element, the second MRE element, and the light sensor detect the position of the shift lever in the front-rear direction. The first and second microswitches detect the position of the shift lever in the left-right direction.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 2006Date of Patent: January 6, 2009Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Tokai Rika Denki SeisakushoInventors: Noriyasu Syamoto, Isamu Matsushima, Noriyuki Suzuki

Publication number: 20050039562Abstract: A shift lever device in which a shift pattern, shift positions, and the like provided at a knob can be clearly seen without the knob being made to be large. Light is guided to an indicator lens by a light guide, without providing a lamp, which is a light source, at an interior of the knob. Thus, a structure of the knob can be simplified and the knob can be made to be compact. Further, because the light guide is a portion of the structure of the knob, the structure of the knob can be simplified from this standpoint as well.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 11, 2004Publication date: February 24, 2005Applicant: KABUSHIKI KAISHA TOKAI-RIKA-DENKI-SEISAKUSHOInventors: Kenichi Kako, Noriyasu Shamoto, Isamu Matsushima, Keizo Fukuda, Teruaki Kitano

Patent number: 6659255Abstract: A shift lock device for a shift lever of a shift apparatus includes a fixed plate having a shift gate that allows movement of the shift lever to each of the shift positions. A movable plate faces the fixed plate and is movable in a direction intersecting a moving direction of shift lever. The movable plate has a corresponding gate that has an area greater than the area of the shift gate. A solenoid is connected to the movable plate to move the movable plate between a first position and a second position. The corresponding gate of the movable plate allows movement of the shift lever to any shift position at the first position and restricts movement of the shift lever in cooperation with the fixed plate at the second position.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2002Date of Patent: December 9, 2003Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Tokai Rika Denki SeisakushoInventors: Noriyasu Syamoto, Isamu Matsushima
