    Abstract: A gear that can be utilized in an electric actuator has teeth formed on its outer circumference and a central hole formed at its center. An intermediate region is positioned between a peripheral portion near the teeth and a boss near the central hole. The intermediate region has a thickness thinner than the peripheral portion and the boss. A plurality of weight-lightening apertures is circumferentially and equidistantly formed in the intermediate region. A vibration absorbing member of synthetic rubber is formed on both side surfaces of the intermediate region. The vibration absorbing member is integrally connected on each side through the weight-lightening apertures. The vibration absorbing member is attached to the radially outer side rather than an outer diameter of a bearing arranged adjacent to the vibration absorbing member.

    Abstract: A two-way differential clutch having sprags. It includes a mechanism that permits the sprags to be inclined instantly in the opposite direction when the rotating direction of an input gear changes over. Two cages having different diameters are mounted between the cylindrical inner surface of an input gear and the cylindrical outer surface of a rotary shaft. The large-diameter cage is fixed to the input gear while the small-diameter cage is rotatably mounted on the rotary shaft. Sprags are received in pockets formed in both cages. A friction plate is rotatably mounted on the small-diameter cage near its end. It is pressed by a resilient member against a flange of the small-diameter cage. The friction plate is nonrotatably coupled to a gear case through a rotation stopper. With this arrangement, it is possible to create a large rotating speed difference between the large-diameter cage and the small-diameter cage when the rotating direction of the input gear changes over.

    Abstract: An outer ring for a vibration proof homokinetic joint has inner and outer casings. Vibration proof members made of an elastic material are disposed between the inner and outer casings. The outer casing is formed on an inner peripheral surface thereof with protrusions angularly spaced therebetween. The inner casing is formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof with grooves angularly spaced therebetween to receive the protrusions therein with predetermined gaps formed therebetween and extending in the direction of rotation of the joint. The vibration proof members are mounted between the adjacent protrusions and between the inner peripheral surface of the outer casing and the outer peripheral surface of the inner casing.
