Abstract: A front fork includes a shock absorber body, a fixing member, and a support portion. A length of a contact surface of the support portion in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the first cylindrical body in a circumferential direction of the first cylindrical body is smaller than a peripheral length of the outer peripheral surface. The support portion is provided at a portion where a contact surface pressure between the fixing member and the support portion increases when the vehicle decelerates.

Abstract: The purpose is to provide a resin composition and a film for lid material which excel in sealability and adhesiveness to plastic containers, especially containers made of polyethylene terephthalate, polylactic acid, polystyrene, or polypropylene, and are suitably usable as sealant layers of lid materials for containers. Provided is a resin composition including: an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (A) by 60-95 parts by weight, the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (A) having a vinyl acetate content (VA) of 3-13% by weight, and having a ratio Qw between a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) and a number-average molecular weight (Mn) of 1.5-4.5; and a tackifier resin (B) by 5-40 parts by weight, where a total amount of (A) and (B) is 100 parts by weight.

Abstract: A front fork includes a tubular outer tube, a tubular inner tube which is provided inside the outer tube and is relatively movably connected to the outer tube, and a connecting member which connects a wheel and the inner tube. The inner tube has a first contact portion which has a first surface and comes into contact with the connecting member. The connecting member includes a second contact portion having a second surface and coming into contact with the first contact portion and a space forming portion which forms a space in an axial direction in a state where the first surface of the first contact portion and the second surface of the second contact portion are in contact with each other.

Abstract: The invention relates to network based content inspection (NBCI). More specifically, the invention provides systems and methods for improved NBCI in complex networks that are typical for enterprises and service providers. These networks are shared by large numbers of concurrent users who send and retrieve application content of various sizes via a variety of communication protocols. This invention improves the efficiency of the NBCI of an individual communication session by learning from the processing results of other communication sessions which may be carried via different network protocols. In addition, the invention provides methods that do not weaken the overall security for the network and that improve the stability of NBCI systems by minimizing the risk of system resource exhaustion if subjected to a burst of large payloads. The invention also improves perceived network stability by preventing the system resources from being “live-locked” by a few large content inspection tasks.

Abstract: A vehicle seat-mounting structure, of which a cut-out portion is formed at an inner side of a seat frame in the transverse direction of a vehicle and extends from an edge portion of the seat frame behind a vehicle seat. In order that opposite edge portions of the cut-out portion in the transverse direction of the vehicle is fixed indirectly to an adjusting rail, a shaft is rotatably supported to a reclining lower arm so as to secure linking members to both ends of the shaft. Bracket members are rotatably supported to the linking members. The seat frame is secured to the bracket members, and the seat frame is then secured to the adjusting rails.

Abstract: A number of embodiments of multiple valve internal combustion engines embodying a single camshaft for operating all of the multiple valves. The cylinder head is configured in such a way that it is reinforced across the center of the cylinder head by a bridging member and this bridging member can form a bearing surface for a center lobe of the camshaft. The camshaft is offset toward one side of the cylinder head and operates the valves through a plurality of rocker arms. In some embodiment, the rocker arms are journaled on a cam cover upon rocker arm shafts formed with reliefs aligned with openings in the cam cover for passing components such as a spark plug or a fastener for securing the cam cover to the cylinder head. Both single and multiple cylinder embodiments are disclosed.

A rod is rotatably connected to the first link and received in slots on the bracket. When a motor mounted on the bracket is actuated, a screw member engaged with a nut member which is fixed on the rod causes the bracket to be swiveled.

Abstract: Several embodiments of internal combustion engines having plural valves operated by a single overhead mounted camshaft. In each embodiment, there is provided a central cam lobe on the camshaft and adjacent bearing portions on opposite sides of this cam lobe for journaling the camshaft. In some embodiments, all intake valves are operated by a single rocker arm and in other embodiments two rocker arms are provided for operating a pair of the intake valves and a single of the intake valves.

Abstract: A cooling jacket arrangement for the cylinder head of a multiple valve internal combustion engine embodying a single camshaft for operating all of the valves. The cooling jacket is supplied with coolant in proximity to portions of the cylinder head that support the exhaust valves and coolant is discharged from outlets formed in portions of the cylinder head that journal the intake valves so as to insure uniform cylinder head temperature. The invention is disclosed in combination with either single or multiple spark plug arrangements and in each embodiment at least a portion of the spark plug is also surrounded by the cooling jacket.

Abstract: An improved cylinder head arrangement for a multiple valve internal combustion engine wherein the cylinder head supports three intake valves that communicate with a common intake passage extending through one side of the cylinder head. An associated manifold is affixed to the cylinder head and has two inlet openings and a transition portion that forms a smooth transition from these two inlet openings to the single intake passage of the cylinder head.

Abstract: A coumarin-like aroma and flavor is imparted to tobacco, foods and drinks by adding the 2- and/or 3-alkyl-substituted indanone compound, such as, 3,4-dimethyl-7-methoxyindan-1-one and 2,4-dimethyl-7-ethoxyindan-1-one. Such a aroma and flavor is further imparted by adding an aromatic composition comprizing said indanone compound, heliotropin and the alkyllactone, such as .gamma.-hexalactone and .beta.,.delta.-dimethyl-.delta.-valerolactone. The favourable examples of foods and drinks in this process are oil and fat product such as margarin and shortening; dairy product such as butter, cheese and yoghurt; meat product such as ham, sausage and bacon; confectionary such as cake and candy, fermentation product such as wine and brandy; drink such as cocoa, coffee, cocacola and soft drinks.
