  • Publication number: 20120131891
Abstract: A moisture separator where a corrugated plate 43 is provided with a collecting plate 49 formed to cover a flat portion 74 and an upstream end of a slope portion disposed on a downstream side of the flat portion 74. The collecting plate 74 has an opening which opens to an upstream side in the direction of the wet steam flow S1. The collecting plate 49 is fixed to the slope portion at a base end. Between the collecting plate 49 and a body portion of the corrugated plate, a pocket section 47 and a drain duct section 48 are formed. The moisture contained in the wet steam S1 turns into droplets and enters the pocket section 47 and the drain duct section 48 from the opening of the collecting plate 49 and falls down the pocket section 47 and the drain duct section 48 respectively by gravity.

  • Patent number: 7993426
Abstract: In a moisture separator, a manifold that communicates with a steam inlet is disposed in a shell. A plurality of blowout outlets for steam is provided on a side of the manifold. A first support plate and a lower support frame are fixed to a lower part in the shell to compart a steam drift space and a drain path. A moisture separating element is provided corresponding to the manifold, and steam from which moisture is removed by the moisture separating element is heated by a group of heating tubes to flow as high-temperature reheat steam to the steam outlet. The moisture is led from the drain opening through the drain path to the drain outlet. A blocking plate blocks a part of the drain opening.

  • Publication number: 20110173948
Abstract: A loss of heat that can be recovered in a heat recovery steam generator is eliminated, whereby a combined cycle electric power generation plant with high heat recovery efficiency is provided. A combined cycle electric power generation plant is adopted that includes a heat recovery steam generator 30 that generates steam for driving a steam turbine 20 using heat of exhaust gas of a gas turbine 10, a cooling air cooler 71 that causes high-pressure feed water supplied from a low-pressure economizer 37 of the heat recovery steam generator 30 and compressed air for turbine cooling extracted from a compressor 11 of the gas turbine 10 to perform heat exchange to heat the high-pressure feed water to thereby cool the compressed air, and a fuel gas heater 72 that causes the compressed air cooled in the cooling air cooler 71 and a fuel gas of the gas turbine 10 to perform heat exchange to further cool the compressed air to thereby heat the fuel gas.
