Publication number: 20240133792Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for ghost cytometry (GC), which may be used to produce an image of an object without using a spatially resolving detector. This may be used to perform image-free ultrafast fluorescence “imaging” cytometry, based on, for example, a single pixel detector. Spatial information obtained from the motion of cells relative to a patterned optical structure may be compressively converted into signals that arrive sequentially at a single pixel detector. Combinatorial use of the temporal waveform with the intensity distribution of the random or pseudo-random pattern may permit computational reconstruction of cell morphology. Machine learning methods may be applied directly to the compressed waveforms without image reconstruction to enable efficient image-free morphology-based cytometry.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 25, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Sadao Ota, Ryoichi Horisaki, Yoko Kawamura, Masashi Ugawa, Issei Sato

Patent number: 8100026Abstract: A plastic injection-molded gear that can prevent the occurrence of noise during meshing attributed to molten-liquid-induced creases, suppress deformations on a rim and a web, and suppress displacement of a meshing position is provided. A rim, on which teeth are formed, is supported by a first overhanging section, a second overhanging section, and radial direction ribs. The first overhanging section projects in a cantilevered manner from an outer peripheral edge of a web. The second overhanging section extends in an outward radial direction from a tip side of the first overhanging section. The radial direction ribs are formed straddling the first overhanging section and the second overhanging section. A connecting section between the rim and the second overhanging section is displaced from a meshing position of the teeth in a teeth width direction.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 2007Date of Patent: January 24, 2012Assignee: Enplas CorporationInventors: Yasuhiro Suzuki, Issei Sato

Patent number: 8047092Abstract: In a spiral bevel gear, a contact area between tooth flanks that mesh with each other is increased, thereby reducing teeth knocking noise and strengthening tooth sections. A shape of a tooth form on a normal plane T of a tooth section 15 of a spiral bevel gear becomes gradually larger as the normal plane moves from a small-diameter end section side towards a large-diameter end section side along a tooth trace H, as indicated by (a), (b), and (c). In correspondence, a tooth crest arc section S is provided in a connecting section 21 between a tooth flank 17 on a meshing side and a tooth crest 16. The tooth crest arc section S is formed such that a curvature radius r gradually increases within a range that does not exceed a radius R of an inscribed circle inscribed within two tooth flanks 17 and 18 and the tooth crest 16 on the normal plane T. The tooth crest arc section S can increase contact area when contact is made with a tooth flank of a partner gear and elastic deformation occurs.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 2009Date of Patent: November 1, 2011Assignee: Enplas CorporationInventors: Yasuhiro Suzuki, Issei Sato

Patent number: 7501178Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide fiber for artificial hair which is deformable by hands at will and has the shape-retaining property. The present invention relates to fiber for artificial hair containing a plastically deformable filament (A) containing a thermoplastic resin having the restoration angle of not more than 30 degrees, after 10 minutes from bending it at 90 degrees. Further, it relates to fiber for artificial hair, which has the shape retention of not less than 30% when it is wound ten times on a cylindrical collar having a diameter of 10 mm and allowed to stand for 10 minutes, and the cylindrical collar was removed and allowed to stand for 5 minutes. The invention also relates to fiber for artificial hair, which is utilized for periwigs, wigs, doll hair, hair accessories, eyelashes, beards or the like by further coloring them.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 2004Date of Patent: March 10, 2009Assignee: Mitsui Chemicals IncInventor: Issei Sato
