  • Patent number: 10906599
Abstract: A garnish is provided with a protrusion portion which protrudes outwardly, in a vehicle width direction, so as to suppress a side-face airflow flowing below a door maximum-width portion of a side portion of a cabin from going around below a vehicle floor. A plate-shaped tire deflector is provided at a lower end portion of a front edge of a rear wheel house which corresponds to a position, in a vertical direction, of a rear end portion of the protrusion portion, wherein the tire deflector is configured to deflect a side-face airflow flowing above the protrusion portion such that the side-face airflow is turned toward an outward side, in the vehicle width direction, so as not to flow into the rear wheel house and adheres to a tire-wheel outer face.

  • Patent number: 8167138
Abstract: A dry cleaning apparatus separates heavy objects from mixture of the heavy objects and light objects having specific gravities smaller than those of the heavy objects. The dry cleaning apparatus includes a casing having a tubular shape having a center axis, an internal cylinder provided in the casing, a recovery section for recovering the heavy objects, a loading section for loading the mixture to above the internal cylinder, a flow inlet for introducing air to between the casing and the internal cylinder, and an outlet for discharging the light objects and air from between the casing and the internal cylinder. The casing has an inner surface extending substantially in parallel to a center axis. The internal cylinder has an upper surface having a center portion projecting upwardly, and has an outer surface having a portion which extends in parallel to the inner surface of the casing and which faces the inner surface of the casing. The recovery section is located under the internal cylinder.

  • Patent number: 5573443
Abstract: A spindle arrangement is provided for either holding a workpiece or mounting a working tool onto a rotary shaft in a cutting/grinding process. The spindle arrangement includes radial magnetic bearings for rotatably supporting the rotary shaft in a radial direction thereof by using suction forces of electromagnets, displacement sensors provided in the radial direction of the rotary shaft for measuring an amount of positional displacement of the rotary shaft, and a controlling device for comparing the measured amount of the positional displacement and a displacement command and then changing the suction forces of the radial electromagnets based on the compared result so as to cause agreement between the measured amount and the command.
