  • Patent number: 6858950
Abstract: A water power machine comprises a drive means and a drive output means which are interconnected by a lever drive assembly. The drive means comprises a motor operated by downward movement of water, the water being lifted again by a conveyor operated by power taken from the drive means, whereby the water power machine operates with a comparatively small amount of water by virtue of utilising a circulating amount of water.

  • Patent number: 6240794
Abstract: A crank assembly for a piston machine having at least one piston reciprocable in a cylinder and a piston rod connecting the piston to the crank assembly for converting the reciprocating movement of the piston into a rotary movement of the crank assembly or vice-versa. The crank assembly includes two shafts in mutually coaxial relationship. Their mutually opposite shaft ends leave a spacing between them. Between the shaft ends the end of the connecting rod is arranged supported on both sides and movably at a spacing around the coaxial axes of the shafts on a circular path, and is in rotational engagement with the shaft ends on both sides by way of pairs of gear wheels.

  • Patent number: 4627389
Abstract: A two-stroke internal combustion engine is disclosed in which transfer of inlet air occurs from the aspiration chamber into the combustion chamber via channels running within the piston. The outer surfaces of the piston and the inner surfaces of the cylinder may with advantage be provided with heat resistant ceramic layers. Radial forces on the piston may be suppressed by means of a slidable piston guide cradle mounted on the cylinder block. Provision is made to inject water into an extension of the compression chamber. This greatly increases power output and also equalizes temperature and stresses in the cylinder walls. Heating means may be provided mounted in the cylinder end face of the combustion chamber.

  • Patent number: 4414927
Abstract: A two stroke oscillating piston engine comprising cylinder sections provided with feed chambers for additional fresh air. The two outer rings, acting as pistons, draw in fresh air through intake ports and force that air to enter combustion chambers through communication ducts and ports. The middle ring is intended for the fresh gas supply of the combustion chambers. The radial grooves for fresh air are provided at a shorter distance from the ports than the radial grooves for fresh gas. Burnt and expanded gas is first exhausted from the combustion chambers by fresh gas; then the combustion chambers are filled with fresh gas and fresh air. Thus, exhausting unburnt gas together with burnt gas is avoided and improved combustion is provided in the combustion chambers.

  • Patent number: 4311442
Abstract: In a rotary piston machine with a cylindrical housing and a drive shaft lying in the cylinder axis, the housing encloses a hollow rotation space in which three sector-shaped rotary pistons provided with sealings and having angular velocities periodically changing relative to each other are arranged one after the other, so that working spaces develop between the rotary pistons whose volumes change periodically. For this purpose, the drive shaft carries an eccentric cam on which is posed a rotating driving plate provided with internal toothing which engages a spur wheel, the driving plate carrying driving pins each in operative connection with a piston rod and having a torsion-resistant connection to one of the rotary pistons via a hollow shaft.
