Abstract: The present invention discloses a silencer for automobile. The silencer is formed by press molding. The silencer has a first molding surface and a second molding surface which are opposite to each other in a thickness direction. The silencer includes a buffer material in which fibers are oriented in the thickness direction and a fiber assembly in which fibers are oriented in a different direction from the direction of the fibers of the buffer material. The buffer material in which fibers are oriented in the thickness direction is inserted into the fiber assembly in which fibers are oriented in the different direction so that a lamination portion is formed by partly laminating the buffer material on the fiber assembly.
