  • Publication number: 20090295336
Abstract: A battery set composed of multiple cells is assembled in a way of individual-charge/merged-discharge. The battery set assembled in the way of the present invention can achieve the highest charge efficiency and maintain balance among multiple cells such that the whole battery set has the largest discharge capacity, and the operating life of the battery set is prolonged. The terminal of the charge tip of the battery set assembled in the way of the present invention is a multi-pin charge terminal.

  • Publication number: 20050074667
Abstract: A lithium battery includes a housing, an electrode set, and a base plate. On the housing, an electrode terminal composed of a negative terminal and a sealing ring is formed, in which a downwardly extended lead wire is attached to a depression piece inside the negative terminal. The base plate is connected with the bottom end of the housing to seal up inside space. The electrode set is arranged in the housing with its positive and negative ends attached to the bottom of the housing, in which the positive end is soldered onto the base plate while the negative end is connected with the lead wire.

  • Patent number: 5612621
Abstract: A method for monitoring cracks in a sample of materials by applying the theory that the phase angle increases in the sample of materials being tested where cracks have formed. The method is performed by preparing a solution capable of forming cracks in the sample, preparing an auxiliary electrode, then making the sample and the auxiliary electrode contact with the solution, preparing a frequency generator connecting the sample and the auxiliary electrode respectively, choosing a frequency, and turning on the frequency generator with an alternating current of the frequency, monitoring the phase angle measured in the sample, and determining the formation of cracks in the sample by checking whether the phase angle measured in the sample increases with time.
