  • Patent number: 11997018
Abstract: Systems, methods, computing platforms, and storage media for administering a distributed edge computing system utilizing an adaptive edge engine based on a finite state machine behavioral model are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: select a first workload from one or more workloads; access, for the selected workload, one or more location optimization strategies from a plurality of location optimization strategies; and optimize an objective function across a portion of the one or more endpoints; select one or more endpoints; deploy the workload on at least one selected endpoint; monitor the health of the endpoint-workload deployment; and direct network traffic to the appropriate endpoint.

  • Patent number: 11874890
Abstract: Examples are disclosed for a navigation system that facilitates navigation through hierarchically-related views within a user interface using multiple independent entry points. In one example, a system is configured to generate a user interface that includes a hierarchy of views based on navigation data and display a plurality of navigation components in the user interface. A selection of a navigation entry is received that corresponds to a desired view from one of the navigation components. A request is sent to a remote navigation service for data associated with the navigation entry of the desired view. The navigation components are updated based on updated navigation data received from the remote navigation service. An updated user interface is displayed that includes a dynamically generated view for the navigation entry based on the updated structure of the hierarchy of views in the plurality of navigation components.

  • Patent number: 11449569
Abstract: Disclosed are various approaches for implementing a navigation system that facilitates navigation through hierarchically-related views within a user interface using multiple independent entry points. The user interface can include multiple navigation components that each independently provide a user access to available views in the user interface. Upon a user selection for a view through interaction with one of the navigation components, a request for data used to build the view can be sent to a server. If the view is valid, an instance of the view is dynamically generated and displayed in the user interface and each navigation component is updated to be consistent with the selected view. If the view is invalid, updated navigation data is used to rebuild the navigation hierarchy and the navigation components are updated according to the updated navigation hierarchy.

  • Patent number: 4160647
Abstract: A continuous-operation extractor for the solvent extraction of low-molecular weight compounds for a solid, e.g. granular polyamide, comprises an upright housing formed internally with vertically extending pipes beneath each of which a steam nozzle opens. Deflectors are provided above the upper ends of each pipe and an overflow conducts the solids downwardly from one extractor stage to the next. A solid inlet communicates with the uppermost extraction stage and is provided with inclined perforated baffles while below the lowermost stage a float-controlled valve regulates the steam inlet.
