  • Patent number: 11481126
Abstract: One embodiment describes an automation system including a sensor that determines operational parameters of the automation system; one or more actuators that perform control actions during operation of the automation system; and a control system communicatively coupled to the sensor and the one or more actuators. The control system includes memory that stores the operational parameters; determines occurrence of memory errors in data stored in the memory; determines error parameters that indicate characteristics of the memory errors; determines error-corrected data by correcting the memory errors based at least in part on the error parameters; adaptively adjusts a refresh rate used to refresh stored data in the memory based at least in part on the error parameters; and determines control commands instructing the one or more actuators to perform the control actions by processing the error-corrected data.

  • Publication number: 20220075529
Abstract: A method for managing a memory for an onboard computer in a motor vehicle is provided. The method includes: determining, at regular time intervals, a degree of wear of the memory depending on an amount of data written into the memory; and if the degree of wear exceeds a specified target value: changing a coding of one or more cells of the memory from a physical coding of higher density to a physical coding of lower density.

  • Publication number: 20200005063
Abstract: A system is described that comprises an application configured to use an object detection model to detect and locate an image category across image frames of image data in real time, the detecting and locating including visualizing the location of the image category in a highlighted view across the image frames using an electronic display, the detecting and locating including capturing a frame of the image data as an image for image recognition. The application is configured to provide the image to one or more applications running on a remote server, the one or more applications configured to process the image to identify a species of a plant appearing in the image, the one or more applications configured to provide an identification of the species to the application, the application configured to receive an instruction to post the image and the species identification.

  • Publication number: 20200005062
Abstract: A method is described that comprises receiving an annotated database of images, wherein each image includes at least one image category, wherein the annotated database includes bounding box coordinates to locate the at least one image category within an image. The method includes receiving image data in real time and using the annotated database of images to train an object detection model for detecting and locating an image category in a frame of image data. The method includes detecting and locating an image category of the at least one image category across image frames of the image data in real time using the object detection model, the detecting and locating including visualizing the location in a highlighted view across the image frames using an electronic display. The detecting and locating including capturing a frame of the image data as an image for image recognition.

  • Patent number: 7272820
Abstract: This invention is about engineering approach to development of transactional workflow applications and about ability of this way produced applications to concurrently process large number of workflow requests of identical type with high speed. It provides methods and articles of manufacture: for graphical development of fully executable workflow application; for producing configuration of class objects and threads with capacity for concurrent processing of multitude of requests of identical type for transactional workflow and for concurrent execution and synchronization of parallel workflow-activity sequences within processing of a workflow request; for application self-scaling up and self-scaling down of its processing capacity; and for real-time visualization of application's thread structures, thread quantity, thread usage, and scaling-enacted changes in threads structure and quantity.
