Abstract: A structure, including a framework formed by vertical supports each mounted in a foundation in a ground; beams attached at the vertical supports and extending horizontally between the vertical supports; usable units respectively formed from at least one ocean container and respectively directly supported exclusively on two of the beams; walkable access paths attached at the framework; and supply and discharge conduits from the ground to each of the usable units, wherein the vertical supports have a longitudinal grid distance in a longitudinal direction of the usable units so that the longitudinal grid distance corresponds to 0.4 times to 0.6 times a length of the usable units. Suitable ocean containers include at least one feature selected from a cubic steel framework; walls made of corrugated steel plate; corner fittings for handling; and/or an absence of windows.

Abstract: A method for producing a suspension, wherein plant parts are comminuted in portions and mixed with water so that the water and the plant parts form the suspension, and a pomace remaining from the plant parts is separated from the suspension. A device for producing a suspension, the device including a mixing chamber and a mixing element in the mixing chamber for mixing a portion of comminuted plant parts with water so that the water and the plant parts form the suspension, and an outlet on the mixing chamber for letting the suspension out of the mixing chamber so that a pomace remaining from the plant parts is retained in the mixing chamber. In order to accelerate production, the plant parts are mashed to a pulp while the water is pressed at a positive pressure through the pulp and through a filter which retains the pomace.

Abstract: A growing apparatus for plants, the growing apparatus including a planting side; a harvesting side; a flexible conveyor belt including cutouts that transports the plants in the cutouts along a conveying path from the planting side to the harvesting side; a nutrition device that feeds a liquid nutrition medium for the plants to a root side of the flexible conveyor belt so that the plants root at the root side and sprout at an illuminated sprout side of the conveyor belt that is arranged opposite to the root side, wherein the flexible conveyor belt is folded into creases at the planting side wherein the creases extend in a direction transversal to the conveying path, wherein the creases are moved from the planting side to the harvesting side and thus straightened and leveled along the conveying path, wherein the cutouts are respectively arranged on ridge lines of the creases.

Abstract: A directional control valve including air connections for exhaust air, feed air, outside air and waste air; two respective functional connections of a heating path and a cooling path; a switching element that is configured to connect each of the air connections with exactly one of the functional connections so that the exhaust air is fed back through the heating path as the feed air in a heating position, and the exhaust air fed back through the cooling path as the intake air in a cooling position, and the outside air is fed through the heating path in a winter ventilation position as the feed air, and the outside air is fed through the cooling path in a summer ventilation position as the feed air.
