  • Patent number: 11215079
Abstract: A turbine includes an outer casing and an inner casing surrounded by said outer casing. The outer casing and inner casing are coaxially arranged with respect to a machine axis. The outer casing and inner casing are each divided in a split plane into an upper part and a lower part. The upper and lower parts are connected with each other in said split plane by means of a flanged connection. The disassembly process is improved by the flanged connection of the upper and lower part of the inner casing comprising a plurality of bolts, which extend each through through holes in respective flanges of said flanged connection of the inner casing, protrude from said through holes at both ends with a threaded section, and are tightened by means of nuts screwed on said threaded sections at both ends of said bolt.

  • Patent number: 9162329
Abstract: The method for removing an inner casing from a machine includes removing a top part of the outer casing, removing a top part of the inner casing, removing the bottom part of the inner casing, before removing the bottom part of the inner casing connecting the bottom part of the inner casing to the rotor, such that the bottom part of the inner casing is supported by the rotor, then rotating the rotor around the longitudinal axis to make the bottom part of the inner casing accessible.

  • Publication number: 20150267563
Abstract: A tool for installing or uninstalling a segment of an inner housing of a turbomachine. The turbomachine includes an outer housing, at least partially surrounding an inner housing and a rotor, concentrically arranged within the inner housing. The rotor is equipped with a number of rotor grooves. The inner housing is divided at an essentially horizontal split plane into an upper segment and a lower segment. The tool includes a first portion insertable into any of the rotor grooves, and furthermore includes a second portion disposed at a distance from the first portion. This second portion is connectable to the lower segment of the inner housing.

  • Patent number: 7832524
Abstract: A device (1) for the feed of air to a compressor (2) of a gas turbine plant has an air inlet duct (8) and an air inlet chamber (9) which adjoins the air inlet duct. For the purpose of damping sound emissions of the compressor (2), a first and second inner wall (10, 11) of the inlet chamber (9) is at least partially lined by means of melamine foam. The invention is characterized by the advantages in that silencing is ensured both with wetness and with chemically aggressive conditions. The silencing device is consequently functionally reliable over an extended operating period.
