  • Patent number: 6935057
Abstract: Printed tags of double thickness for marking electronic elements include first and second parallel, spaced apart strips. Tags of first and second sets have outer ends detachably connected to inner edges of the first and second strips, respectively, and extend toward the other strip. Each tag of the first and second sets have inner ends that extend in a lengthwise direction of the strips, with the inner ends of respective opposing tags of the first and second sets being connected together along a center line that extends in the lengthwise direction to form a tag pair. The tags of each connected tag pair are marked with identical indicia. The connected tags are folded along the center lines thereof so that the identically marked opposing connected tags are superimposed over each other to create tags of double thickness and double markings on both outer surfaces.

  • Patent number: 6763623
Abstract: Printed multiple tags for marking electro technical and/or electronic elements, include a rigid injection molded plastic plate made of thermoplastic material and including several comb shaped units, each comb shaped unit including interpenetrating teeth which form tags and which are separated by through passing cutting lines separating the interpenetrating teeth and by first non passing-through prefracture lines which facilitate detachment of the tags, second non passing-through prefacture lines to facilitate detachment of the comb shaped units from each other, and the tags being marked with indicia by a thermal transfer printer for rigid plates by a computer system, to form printed tags which are adapted to be placed in supports after being detached from their respective comb shaped unit, with the supports being fitted on electronic elements to be identified.

  • Publication number: 20040026918
Abstract: Multiple tags of double thickness for marking electro technical and/or electronic elements obtained by die-cutting from a thin continuous strip (1) of calendered material so that two lateral margins (2) are obtained by this die-cutting, interconnected by opposed tags, which in turn are butted in the centre, whereas both opposed tags (3) are identically printed with the proper markings by a thermal transfer label printer and the strips (1) with the marked tags (3) are then folded to create tags of double thickness and double markings on both outer surfaces; these double thickness tags (3) will then be provided with a suitable support (6) for the identification of electric components after the tags have been removed from the superimposed margins (2) or they may be directly used on electronic components provided with their own support.

  • Patent number: 5157853
Abstract: A C-shaped support for cable marking has a lengthwise straight or S-shaped slit and at least one of its ends has one or more oblique surfaces running counterclockwise or clockwise with respect to the longitudinal central axis and with respect to the position of the slit. Before its installation on the cable, the support is positioned so that the oblique surface can be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise to widen the slit which will then close again progressively.

  • Patent number: 5035048
Abstract: A marking machine for marking cable markers has a frame bearing a plurality of strips of ring shaped marking elements, a tab mounted on a reciprocating carriage, and devices for positioning a ring-shaped marking element of each strip in the travel path of the tab. The tab automatically seizes the selected element and introduces it in a recess of a cable marrier.

  • Patent number: 4899474
Abstract: This open sleeve support is consisting of a central flat or slightly curved part (1), preferably of constant thickness, provided with two lateral branches (2) growing more narrow downwards, the latter being connected through a small fillet, to the two flat and parallel flanges (4) bent inwards and almost reaching the center of the sleeve, so that the support can be easily fitted on cables of various size (7) by slipping the sleeve on laterally, without risk of failure, while remaining firmly in place.

  • Patent number: 4876810
Abstract: This open support has the configuration of a "C" shaped sleeve (1) provided along the free ends of the "C" with two opposed lateral shapes (3) connected by weakened zones (2); each shape being provided with an inwards directed upper thin triangular projection (4) and a lower convex projection (5) so that during the assembly of the support (1) on the cable (6) the sleeve (1) is subjected to elastic strain and the shapes (3) begin to oscillate around the weakened zones (2) so that, due to an elastic thrust of the shapes (3) acting on the external lower semicircumference of the cable (6), the latter is pushed inwards and will snap into the sleeve (1) causing a further oscillation of the shapes (3) until they reach their end position while pushing the cable (6) inwards by boundary pressure.

  • Patent number: 4861280
Abstract: This terminal is consisting of two elements, one of which is formed by a metal coupling mechanism (1) a first ring (2) connected to the coupling mechanism (1) and a second ring (6) connected to the first ring (2) by means of a narrow lower link (5), so that the second ring (6) is externally projecting beyond the first ring (2), whereas the other element is formed by a hollow, tubular insulating envelope or sleeve internally featuring various subsequent shapes, i.e. a flaring or bellmouth (8) forming an initial step (9), followed by an annular recess (10), a second step (11) almost centrically located with respect to a cylindrical end section (12), so that the terminal to be used by the operator is obtained by introducing the second ring (6) in the sleeve (7) until it is positioned in the annular recess (10) and resting against the first step (9). After connection to the lead by crimping the first ring (2), the sleeve is moved axially so as to uncover the coupling zone, i.e.

  • Patent number: 4586671
Abstract: This invention relates to dispensers comprising one or various interconnected holders, the or each holder being formed by two box-shaped components with an outlet opening in which a rotary drum is housed. A flexible strip or elements of any suitable nature is wound around the drum, to be used together with elements of other strips for marking of wires, cables, electrical equipment and systems. These strips of elements protrude from the hole in each holder and can be cut to any length and removed progressively by turning the drum. A multiple holder dispenser provides for tidy and methodical arrangement of the marking elements and for easy and safe utilization.

  • Patent number: 4268986
Abstract: The invention provides an identification device in the form of a holder for symbol elements. The holder has a body and a channel portion, the body and channel portion being integral to define a one piece unit, but the body being of a relatively hard plastic and the channel portion being of a relatively soft plastic. The body portion is adapted to be springingly engaged with the object to which the holder is to be connected, while the channel portion is transparent so that the symbol elements can be seen therethrough. The holder is manufactured from a drawn composite plastic body, the body being drawn in a process similar to wire drawing.
