  • Patent number: 4019025
Abstract: A card conveyor device comprises a card guide path the transport means being spaced by a distance less than the length of the card, along which a card for reading or writing information therein is guided in a predetermined direction, first and second transport means adapted to engage the card to thereby move the same along the card guide path, drive means for the card transport means, detector means for detecting the position of the card on the guide path, and control means effective to bring the card transport means into or out of engagement with the card as determined by a signal from the detector means.

  • Patent number: 3995256
Abstract: A selective switching circuit which is operative to successively switch a plurality of other circuits, one at a time in a predetermined order, into an existing circuit configuration. An embodiment of the invention is described in relation to a magnetic strip card writing device, whereby information to be written on each of a plurality of strips is successively stored in corresponding registers, and later applied to the strips all at one time. Information in any of the registers may be preserved therein, with new information to be recorded being directed into the next ordered register.

  • Patent number: 3946202
Abstract: An information writing device is used to write information on a card such as magnetic card. Information to be written on a card is manually fed into the device through a keyboard. The card may be reciprocated through a driving unit to write information thereon during its forward stroke and to read out the information during its backward stroke. The information read out is collated with the input one to visually indicate resulting coincidence or non-coincidence thereof.
