Abstract: Aerobic exercise and strength training exercise are simultaneously provided to the body of a motionless patient or non-patient, to gradually increase body strength, increase elasticities of limb arteries, veins and adjacent muscles, reduce heart workload, increase whole body blood flow, provide more oxygen and nutrients to the whole body, increase the rate of removal of cell waste products, to treat, prevent, reduce the rate of progression and reduce the risk of recurrence of diseases and conditions of the whole body. Apparatus provides stretching and compressing muscle exercise for hips, shoulders and limbs of motionless patient or non-patient. A new scientific explanation of aerobic exercise, e.g. walking, is provided which shows the sequence of events within the body during aerobic exercise which causes whole-body benefits shown in hundreds of aerobic exercise studies. The explanation is applied to Alzheimer, Parkinson and Cancer studies to explain the results of the studies.

Abstract: A noninvasive treatment to increase the elasticities of arteries and veins in arms, legs, hands and feet, to reduce heart workload, to increase whole body blood flow, to supply an increased amount of oxygen and nutrients throughout the cardiovascular system and increase the rate of removal of cell waste products, to treat many medical conditions so that symptoms are eliminated or minimized due to improved performance of the body. The noninvasive treatment includes using a vacuum pressure and air pressure system to perform the above, and to passively exercise muscles of arms, legs, hands and feet in a chamber, and is suited for patients who are unable to engage in sufficient exercise on their own.

Abstract: Noninvasive angioplasty using momentary vacuum therapy (MVT) is applied to treat erectile dysfunction, peripheral artery disease, and deep vein thrombosis. MVT is a noninvasive angioplasty technique which momentarily increases blood pressure to flatten arterial plaque and increase arterial elasticity for peripheral artery disease and deep vein thrombosis. The workload on the heart will be reduced by the flattening of plaque and the increase in elasticity of the peripheral arteries. The reduction in workload may be a treatment for congestive heart failure (heart failure). For treating erectile dysfunction, MVT increases the elasticity of penile arteries but does not flatten penile plaque; when treating erectile dysfunction with MVT, only an increase in arterial elasticity is required.

Abstract: The present invention relates to treatments for erectile dysfunction comprising momentary vacuum therapy alone or with medications. The treatments may be effective when other treatments (PDE-5 inhibitors (e.g., VIAGRA®); vasodilators (e.g., ALPROSTADIL®); combination pharmacotherapies (e.g., VIAGRA® and MUSE); central nervous system-acting agents (e.g., Apomorphine) fail. All treatments use a finding of the present invention that momentary vacuum therapy increases the elasticity of arteries to overcome, to a significant degree, the arterial inelasticity of atherosclerosis, a primary cause of erectile dysfunction. When momentary vacuum therapy is used with VIAGRA®, e.g., the atherosclerosis problem and the chemical message problem are treated simultaneously. Momentary vacuum therapy may be useful in the treatment of peripheral (e.g., arms and legs) artery disease and congestive heart failure.

The present invention consists of improved sleeping pads, beddings and bumper pads which reduce rebreathing of carbon dioxide and overheating and provide increased crib ventilation to stimulate breathing.
