Abstract: A device for securing an opposing pair of outwardly opening cabin doors on general aviation aircraft and the like. A pair of non-extensible elongated elements, such as a pair of rods or a rod and a cable, are joined together at one end such that the elements can rotate independently of one another. The opposite ends of the elements are secured to the cabin doors, at least one of the elements being selectively engagable to its corresponding door from outside the aircraft. With the device in place, the cabin doors are clamped together and cannot be opened until at least one of the elements is disengaged from its corresponding door.
