  • Patent number: 10094505
Abstract: A heatable line pipe useful for diesel fuel systems and fuel cell systems is provided. The heatable line pipe comprises in order from an inside of the pipe: a) an electrically insulating inner layer; b) a first electrically conductive layer; c) at least two current leads wound spirally around the first electrically conductive layer; d) a second electrically conductive layer over the at least two current leads forming a surface; and e) an outer cladding of an electrically insulating plastic material. The thickness of the second electrically conductive layer is 0.1 to 1.5 mm, and the at least two current leads form wave peaks in the surface of the second electrically conductive layer. The line pipe has the advantage that a fall in heating performance over the lifetime is effectively prevented.

  • Patent number: 9644776
Abstract: In a prefabricated electrically heatable media line having at least one pipeline part with an integrated electrically conductive device and having at least one connecting device, in particular a plug, screw or coupling device, the pipeline part and the electrically conductive device extend as far as or close to that end of the connecting device which is averted from the pipeline part or close to, in front of or in a connection contour. In a method for producing a media line, a pipeline part is produced with at least one integrated electrically conductive device and the integrated electrically conductive device is exposed in at least one end region of the pipeline part, permanent electrical contact is made with said integrated electrically conductive part by a contact-making device, and the contact-making device is routed out at the outer face of the pipeline part in order to form a connection to an electrical energy source.

  • Publication number: 20150260326
Abstract: An electrically heatable media line including a pipeline with at least two electric conductors embedded into the wall of the pipeline, electric lines, and at least one fluidic contoured connection section. The contoured connection section is injection molded in a bonded manner around the pipeline together with the electric conductors and connection points on the electric conductors, said connection points being used to connect to the electric lines. The electric lines are bonded to the conductors, and the contoured connection section forms a contoured fluidic and electric connection section, the contoured connection section sealingly surrounding the electric connection points, a portion of the electric lines, and the end face of the pipeline wall. A method for producing an electrically heatable media line is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20140110004
Abstract: In a multiple-layer electrically heatable medium line having a medium-resistant inner layer, a heating layer which is provided with at least two conductors or heating conductors, and an outer layer, the layers of the medium line are single-layer or multiple-layer, and the conductors or heating conductors are embedded within the heating layer such that they are coiled in the longitudinal direction of the medium line, in a radially and/or axially predefined position.

  • Patent number: 7258371
Abstract: A connection system for conduits, fittings or assemblies which are intended for carrying a fluid acted upon by a pressure (p1), in particular for systems carrying carbon dioxide. The connection system comprises a first coupling part such as a housing part, a second coupling part such as a plug part, and is capable of being introduced into the first coupling part along an axis. At least one gas-permeable circumferential seal is arranged in a groove in one of the two coupling parts. One coupling part is capable of being plugged with a shank into a round receiving orifice of the other coupling part. After plugging-in, the circumferential seal seals off a gap between the outer radius of the shank and the inner radius of the receiving orifice.
