  • Patent number: 7219780
Abstract: A piston, which has a piston rod, is guided with freedom of axial movement in a cylindrical pressure tube. At one end of the pressure tube, the piston rod passes through an opening in an end wall, which closes off the end of the pressure tube. The pressure tube is surrounded by a heat-shrink sleeve, which, at the exit end of the piston rod, extends more-or-less radially inward and has a pass-through opening through which the piston rod extends. The ring-shaped end surface at the piston rod exit end of the pressure tube is enclosed by the heat-shrink sleeve.

  • Patent number: 6854772
Abstract: A plug connection for hoses or pipes as for connecting washing fluid conduits in a motor vehicle comprises a plug receiving member for receiving a connecting plug portion. The connecting plug portion can be latched in the plug receiving member in such a way as to be secured against forces acting axially thereon. The plug receiving member has resilient or spring-loaded latching portions. A securing sleeve is arranged axially slidably on the outside of the plug receiving member. In a first position of the securing sleeve the latching portions are held in a receiving and latching position in which a connecting plug portion can be inserted into and latched in the plug receiving member. In a second position of the securing sleeve it permits the latching portions to move resiliently into a retracted open position for disengagement of an inserted connecting plug portion from the plug receiving member.

  • Patent number: 6708898
Abstract: In the case of a fluidic nozzle (12) a nozzle body (13) is fixed in a housing (17) by a form-locking latching connection (18). For this purpose, an elastically deformable latching body (14) engages in a recess (16) of the housing (17). The operational position of the nozzle body (13) is thereby defined with high accuracy, with the result that an undesirable escape of the liquid between the nozzle body (13) and the housing (17) is prevented. Furthermore, at the same time the contact surface can be reduced here to a section (20) which is inclined toward an outlet opening (19) of the fluidic nozzle (12) and has a correspondingly improved sealing.

  • Patent number: 6498232
Abstract: Shear forces are used for essentially salt-free coagulation of plastics dispersions or rubber dispersions. For this, method of use is made of an apparatus with at least one shearing module which has a stator and a rotor arranged within the stator, where the surfaces facing toward one another in the stator and in the rotor are in each case smooth, or at least the rotor exhibits a structure formed on its surface and facing from this in the direction of the stator, and between the stator and the rotor there is a gap of predetermined gap width. The process is carried out by passing the dispersion to be coagulated through the gap between stator and rotor and precipitating the dispersion by rotation of the rotor with predetermined shear rate and shear deformation.
