  • Patent number: 11851722
Abstract: The invention relates to specific chrome tanning agents and also to their use for the tanning of hides and skins, and to the leather and pelts obtainable as a result. It further provides a new process wherein the protein-masked chrome tanning agents of the invention are obtained from materials containing chromium and collagen, more particularly from leather production wastes such as leather shavings, for example. This enables recycling of chromium-containing leather production wastes, thereby permitting a significant reduction in the amount of such wastes, a fact which leads to considerable economic, environmental and logistical advantages.

    Assignee: TFL Ledertechnik GmbH
Inventors: Volker Rabe, Susanne Doeppert, Juergen Reiners
  • Patent number: 11365456
Abstract: A method of preparing hydrophobicizing leather treatment compositions includes the steps of a) free-radically initiated copolymerization of i) at least one ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivatives, and ii) at least one (meth)acrylate of a primary saturated C8 to C22 alcohol, b) mixing the reaction mixture obtained after step a) with water, c) salting at least some of the carboxyl groups of the reaction mixture obtained after step b) with a base, and d) shearing the reaction mixture obtained after step c) to an average particle size of 0.05-10 ?m, wherein step a) is carried out in oil as reaction medium and wherein the atmosphere in step a) contains less than 0.1% by volume of an oxidizing gas.

  • Patent number: 10843671
Abstract: A drilling tool, in particular a rock drilling tool, for a portable machine tool, includes a drill head, in particular a hard metal drill head. The drill head includes a drill shaft connected, in particular integrally with the drill head, and a rotational axis. The drill shaft is configured as one piece, has a guide section with guide groove winding in a spiral-shaped about the drill shaft for transporting away drilling dust, and has a securing section provided for detachably securing the drilling tool to a machine tool. The guide section has a diameter reinforcement at a drill head support region of the guide section neighboring, in particular adjacent to, the drill head.

  • Publication number: 20190344767
Abstract: An electro-hydraulic power vehicle-brake system for a motor vehicle autonomously driving on public roads. A secondary brake unit is connected to a service brake unit so that in the event of a failure of the service brake unit, the vehicle brake system is able to be actuated using the secondary brake unit. In order to be able to rapidly build up a brake pressure with the aid of the secondary brake unit even with a cold and viscous brake fluid, brake fluid reservoirs are provided that are integrated into the secondary brake unit and are connected by short line lengths to hydraulic pumps of the secondary brake unit.

  • Patent number: 10173654
Abstract: An electronically slip-controllable vehicle brake system includes a human-powered master brake cylinder, a pressure generator, an electronically actuatable valve device, a wheel brake, and an electronically actuatable actuator. The wheel brake is connected to the master cylinder and the pressure generator. The pressure generator is drivable via an external force and is configured to supply pressurized brake fluid to the wheel brake. The valve device is configured to control pressure medium connections from the master brake cylinder to the wheel brake and to a suction side of the pressure generator, and includes three pressure medium connections. The actuator is configured to switch the valve device between three different positions whereat the pressure medium connections are connected to or block from each other in different combinations.
