  • Patent number: 8646181
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a shaft-hub component (1) having a shaft (2), a hub component (3; 10; 11; 12) and a shaft-hub connection for an armature of an electrical machine, comprising the steps: hardening of the shaft (2) at least on the outer lateral surface (6) of said shaft (2), shaping of the hardened shaft (2) such that a partial region (L1; L2; L3; L4) of said shaft (2) is shaped in such a manner that at least one radially projecting section (4) and one radially indented section (5) are produced and joining of said shaped shaft (2) and the hub component (3, 10, 11, 12) to the shaft-hub component so that said shaft-hub connection includes an interference fit at the projecting section (4), a hardness of said hub component (3; 10; 11; 12) being less than a surface layer hardness of said shaft (2). The invention further relates to a shaft-hub component for an armature of an electrical machine.

  • Patent number: 6598507
Abstract: A microtome for producing thin sections, in which the cutting operation is performed by way of a relative movement between a cutting knife and an object. A drive system (14) having a drive motor (17), a control circuit (15), and a handwheel (8) is provided to generate the relative movement. The handwheel (8) is connected to an encoder (16) that delivers corresponding signals to the control circuit (15) upon rotation of the handwheel (8). The drive motor (17) is then activated accordingly by way of said control circuit (15). In the absence of encoder signals, the drive system (14) is locked.

  • Patent number: 6253653
Abstract: The invention relates to a microtome (1) for producing thin slices for microscopy, which is provided with a base (2), a blade holder (3) for holding a cutting blade (4) and an object holder (5) for holding the object (6) to be cut. Cutting occurs in a plane by a relative movement between the object (6) and the cutting blade (4) To produce the relative movement, a rotating component (7) is provided with a drive motor (17), wherein the rotating axis of the rotating component (7) is arranged obliquely to the base (2), and a feed slide (9) is provided with a linear guide for setting the slice thickness. The structure of said feed slide (9) is such that it is removable via a feed motor (17) and a control circuit (14) connected thereto.
