Abstract: An apparatus for transporting single sheets through a device for exposing or printing the single sheets, with a drum and means that press the single sheet against the drum, with a processing station having a processing gap, with the single sheets being exposed or printed in the processing station, includes means that limit the processing gap. According to the invention, the means for limiting the processing gap are moveable so said the distance between the drum and the means for limiting the processing gap can be increased or decreased.

Abstract: The invention concerns to a device for exposing light-sensitive material, such as photographic paper. The apparatus includes an exposure device (15), an exposure stage (10), at least one magazine (2) for storing a roll of light-sensitive material, a transport device (8) for transporting the light-sensitive material from the magazine (2) to the exposure stage (10) and a cutting device (6) for cutting the light-sensitive material into single sheets. To be able to provide a larger selection of light-sensitive materials for exposing, a cassette (4) for storing light-sensitive material in the form of sheets is provided in the apparatus in addition to the roll magazine (2). A transfer device (11) transfers the sheet material from the cassette (4) to the transport device (8) or directly to the exposure stage (10).

Abstract: A device and a method is proposed for writing on imaging material (3) with a radiation source (1) producing an electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength suitable for recording image information on the imaging material (3). The radiation produced by the radiation source (1) can be modulated with a waveguide which is integrated in a substrate material (49) and operates as a modulator (2). A modulation signal containing the image information can be received at an input (9) of the modulator (2). According to the invention, a compensator (6, 12) compensates a modulation error which occurs during modulation of the radiation.
