  • Publication number: 20230365252
Abstract: A set of doors includes two front doors and two rear doors to open or close the front landing gear bay of the aircraft to enable lowering or retraction of a landing gear, each of the front doors including at least one deflector arranged on an internal face of the front door near a rear leading edge thereof, the deflector extending along the rear leading edge, the set therefore enabling action on an aerodynamic flow between the front doors to disturb it in such a manner as significantly to attenuate undesirable transitory vibratory phenomena that can arise in a particular configuration in which the front doors are open and the rear doors are closed.

  • Patent number: 10358204
Abstract: A joint assembly in an aircraft connecting a belly fairing to the fuselage of the aircraft. The belly fairing has a sewing angle connected to a main belly fairing section, while the fuselage has a fuselage skin with an exterior and an interior. The joint assembly includes a sewing angle with a flange connected to the fuselage skin exterior at a fixation zone of the fuselage skin, with the fixation zone being overlapped by the flange where it is connected thereto. The joint assembly further includes a stringer connected to the fuselage skin interior and overlapping the fixation zone. This joint assembly is less susceptible to vibrations. • Patent number: 10046845
Abstract: The disclosure herein relates to a part of an aircraft structure including a portion of a floor structure and a portion of a hull structure, connected to one another by a connecting element. In accordance with, the disclosure herein the connecting element includes a flexible cable fixed at one of the ends thereof to the portion of a floor structure and fixed at the other, second of the ends thereof to the portion of a hull structure. When the connection between the portion of a floor structure and the portion of a hull structure is subjected to tensile load, the flexible cable makes it possible to meet the standards of resistance to forward accelerations of the aircraft. When the connection is subjected to compressive load, the flexible cable relaxes and bends, which limits the requirements of withstanding compressive stresses and therefore the weight of the connecting element.

  • Publication number: 20180163773
Abstract: A damping connecting rod that can be converted into a rigid connecting rod in the case of abnormal vibrations. The damping connecting rod comprises a body having a cavity and a shaft inside the cavity, with a clevis associated with the body and allowing the clevis to be fixed to an element. The shaft can be longitudinally displaced inside the body or the body about the shaft. The connecting rod includes an arrangement for longitudinally immobilizing the shaft with respect to the clevis comprising at least one hook and at least one hollow, which are borne by two connecting rod pieces, respectively, which are configured to be displaced toward one another and with a shape such that, with the displacement of the pieces longitudinally with respect to one another, the hook driven into the corresponding hollow longitudinally immobilizes the shaft with respect to the clevis.

  • Patent number: 9764816
Abstract: An aircraft structure part comprising a floor structure, a hull structure, and a connecting element. The connecting element comprises a rod attached, at its first end, to one of the hull and the floor; an attachment element, attached to the other of the hull and the floor, and provided with an opening in which the second end of the rod is slidably mounted; and an endstop attached to the rod so as to engage with the attachment element, to limit the sliding amplitude of the rod in the opening. When the connection between the floor and the hull is loaded in tension, the endstop makes it possible to comply with the standards for withstanding acceleration towards the aircraft front. When the connection is loaded in compression, the rod slides freely in the opening, which limits the constraints of withstanding compressive stresses, reducing the weight of the connecting element.

  • Patent number: 8910904
Abstract: An engine attachment pylon for mounting an aircraft engine to an aircraft structure while minimizing vibrations induced into the engine attachment pylon during flight and operation of the engine. The engine attachment pylon comprises a rigid box like structure housing a resonator which is tuned to attenuate tension and compression vibrations experienced by the engine attachment pylon. The engine attachment pylon is primarily used in combination within another identical engine attachment pylon, both being linked together on a vertical plane within the fuselage by a hinge like junction, and each engine attachment pylon being raised approximately 30° from the horizontal axis of the fuselage.
