    Abstract: This novel clutch retainer and roller assembly comprises at least one plate to which are attached a plurality of circumferentially separated spring biasing tab members. Each tab extends into a completely hollow roller or a roller having a recess at at least one end. The tabs bias the rollers toward locking engagement between the clutch cam surfaces and the shaft or inner race.
