  • Patent number: 11951344
Abstract: Some embodiments and methods described herein relate to fire training systems and to fire simulators or fire training apparatus. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a housing with a surface and an interior volume. A smoke generator is disposed within the interior volume of the housing and is configured to selectively generate smoke. A port is extended between the smoke generator and the surface of the housing and is configured to permit at least a portion of the smoke to be discharged through the port from the smoke generator to an exterior of the housing. A light emitter is coupled to the housing and configured to emit a light. The light and the portion of smoke are collectively configured to simulate a flame or electric arc above the surface of the housing such that the simulated flame or electric arc is viewable from more than 180 degrees about the surface of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20240089287
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for an orchestrator device associated with a scrubbing environment of a telecommunications network that receives one or more announced routing protocol advertisements from a customer device under an attack. In response to receiving the announcement, the orchestrator may configure one or more scrubbing devices of the network to begin providing the scrubbing service to packets matching the received routing announcement. A scrubbing service state for the customer may also be obtained or determined by the orchestrator. With the received route announcement and the customer profile and state information, the orchestrator may provide instructions to configure the scrubbing devices of the network based on the received information to dynamically automate scrubbing techniques without the need for a network administrator to manually configure the scrubbing environment or devices.

  • Publication number: 20240011596
Abstract: A corrosion resistant tube includes a tubular low carbon steel body having an inside surface and an outside surface, a corrosion resistant metal coating on the inside surface, a first corrosion resistant metal coating on the outside surface, a second corrosion resistant metal coating applied to the first corrosion resistant metal coating on the outside surface, and a polymer layer applied over the second corrosion resistant metal coating. A method of manufacturing a corrosion resistant tube, includes applying a corrosion resistant metal coating both sides of a strip of low carbon steel, forming the strip into a tube and welding the edges to form a tubular body. The weld is narrower at the inside surface than at the outside surface of the tubular body. The corrosion resistant metal coating on the inside surface is heated during welding and flows across and covers the weld.

  • Patent number: 11570976
Abstract: A rod holder system for use with a boat, specifically for use with a ski bar or other rail element on a boat. The rail can be round or square. The device could even be clamped to a rail of a wooden deck rather than on a boat. A stem is clamped to the rail using a clamp and several clamp screws. A rod holder with a sizing insert is screwed to a top end of the stem using a rod screw for connecting the holder to the stem. The sizing insert can be inserted into the holder and may be interchangeable depending on the rod to be placed within the holder, from a flag pole to a fishing pole handle to a spotlight pole.

  • Patent number: 11430632
Abstract: Reciprocal space map of specific sample locations is generated based on the sample images acquired by irradiating the sample with a charged particle beam at multiple incident angles. The incident angles are obtained by tilting the charged particle beam and/or the sample around two perpendicular axes within the sample plane. The reciprocal space map of a selected sample location is generated based on intensity of pixels corresponding to the location in the sample images.

  • Patent number: 11425579
Abstract: A user interface for a distributed antenna system (DAS) is provided. When executed by a processor, a signal distribution engine receives information about signals transported by the DAS and components of the DAS. The signal engine generates a signal set assignment user interface including a list of signals transported by the DAS and a signal set formation area for receiving a signal set. The signal engine also generates a signal distribution user interface that includes representations of signal sets, hardware components, and associations between hardware components. In response to receiving a request to associate the signal set with a specified hardware component, a command is output to configure a signal path so that signals in the signal set are provided to the specified hardware component.

  • Patent number: 11221962
Abstract: A system and method for efficiently transferring address mappings and data access permissions corresponding to the address mappings. A computing system includes at least one processor and memory for storing a page table. In response to receiving a memory access operation comprising a first address, the address translation unit is configured to identify a data access permission based on a permission index corresponding to the first address, and access data stored in a memory location of the memory identified by a second address in a manner defined by the retrieved data access permission. The address translation unit is configured to access a table to identify the data access permission, and is configured to determine the permission index and the second address based on the first address. A single permission index may correspond to different permissions for different entities within the system.
