  • Publication number: 20150354297
Abstract: An extended stabbing assembly permits quick and efficient installation of a stabbing guide on a first threaded connection member from a safe distance away from said threaded connection member, and removal of said stabbing guide following completion of a pipe make-up (connection) operation. A pair of opposing arcuate arm members are attached to a yoke member, which is attached to an elongate extension rod. The opposing arcuate members can be selectively alternated between a first (substantially open or spread apart) position and a second (partially closed or inwardly pointing) position. Tapered pipe guide members extend from the upper surface of the arcuate arm members and yoke member.

  • Publication number: 20090071114
Abstract: A gas turbine air inlet filter element is described. The filter element includes a first end cap, a second end cap, and a filter media. The filter media includes a nonwoven synthetic fabric formed from a plurality of bicomponent synthetic fibers with a spunbond process, and having a bond area pattern that includes a plurality of substantially parallel discontinuous lines of bond area. The filter media has a minimum filtration efficiency of about 50%, measured in accordance with ASHRAE 52.2-1999 test procedure. The filter media also includes an embossing pattern or a plurality of corrugations. The embossing pattern or the corrugations are formed using opposing rollers at a temperature of about 90° C. to about 140° C.

  • Publication number: 20050178097
Abstract: A filter mounting system for use in a baghouse having a tubesheet with a plurality of openings. The filter mounting system comprises filter media and a tubular mounting collar to mount the filter media relative to the tubesheet. The filter mounting system also comprises a gasket made of a flexible material. The gasket has a tubesheet receiving portion and a filter receiving portion extending from the tubesheet receiving portion. The mounting collar of the filter mounting system is adapted to be positioned within the filter receiving portion of the gasket and engaging the filter receiving portion to effect sealing engagement of the tubesheet receiving portion of the gasket against a portion of the tubesheet adjacent the opening. The filter receiving portion extends from the tubesheet receiving portion to force one portion of the gasket into sealing engagement with a surface of the tubesheet upon engagement with the mounting collar.

  • Patent number: 5849381
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a crack-proof, and resilient article of the PET type that is produced from about 40% to about 90% regrind PET. The article is characterized in that it has an intrinsic viscosity between 0.54 and 0.68. The present invention is also directed to a method for recycling regrind PET for use in the production of a clear, crack-proof, and resilient article includes the steps of:(1) regrinding scrap thermoplastic PET upon isolation from the thermoformed articles into regrind PET;(2) blending the regrind PET with virgin PET to form a blend wherein the percentage of regrind PET in the blend ranges from about 40% to about 90% and the percentage of virgin PET in said blend ranges from about 60% to about 10%;(3) passing the blend of regrind PET and virgin PET through an extruder wherein no more than 10% of said regrind PET in the blend has been recrystallized, the extruder having a throat wherein the temperature ranges from about 550.degree. F. to about 650.degree. F.

  • Patent number: 5758773
Abstract: Molded plastic plates having a rolled edge rim and a method of rolling the edges of molded plastic plated. The plastic plates are pre-molded with lugs that project outwardly from the sides of the plates. The lugs of one plate contact the rim of the next successive plate in a stack of plates to create a gap between the plates stacked one on top of another. The gap allows each individual plate to be picked up by the threads on a plurality of threaded rollers which press on the rim of the plate to form the rolled edge.
