  • Patent number: 4450918
Abstract: A discing tool is provided which includes a plurality of disc gangs connected to a movable elongated frame. The frame is supported on a number of rotatable wheel assemblies so that the disc gangs can be moved in a direction generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the frame as well as in a direction generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the frame. A pair of outer disc gangs are pivotally connected at their first ends to the center portion of the frame. The second ends of the outer disc gangs extend in opposite directions and the outer disc gangs can be positioned at various predetermined angles relative to the frame. A center disc gang is connected to the center portion of the frame and is vertically pivotal. When the discing tool is used to work the soil, the center disc gang disc harrows the section of soil between the first ends of the outer disc gangs.

  • Patent number: 4313706
Abstract: A grain cake breaker device is provided for placement within a storage bin to facilitate the removal of grain therefrom. The device includes a support structure having a number of legs which are connected to the storage bin floor at their lower ends. The legs converge together at their upper ends where they are joined with a hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder is connected to a shaft which extends downwardly toward the bottom of the storage bin. A plurality of nonrotatable, rigid cutting arms extend outwardly and upwardly from the shaft. When the hydraulic cylinder is powered, the shaft moves in a substantially vertical reciprocal direction so that the cutting arms loosen caked grain when contacted by the cutting arms. The grain then flows to the bottom of the storage bin where it is carried from the storage bin by a conveyor.

  • Patent number: 4248548
Abstract: System includes transport means to carry sewage to holding pits or tanks in open areas remote from community and delivery from tanks to tunnels plowed in ground. Transport may be by tankers or pipeline. Tender tankers receive batches of sewage from storage tanks and deliver to field where tractors pull frames with depending plow members which produce tunnels in ground with narrow slashes or crevices extending to surface. Frames carry manifolds and discharge conduits to deliver sewage to tunnels. Tender tankers arranged beside tractors have supply conduits connecting them to manifolds, with pumps in conduits to produce continuous flow. Tankers travel in synchronism with tractors and deliver sewage to tunnels as they are formed. Compacting rollers pulled behind frames close crevices directly after they are formed by plow, and sewage is sealed into ground.
