    Abstract: A recreational device for horses takes the form of a resilient generally prolate spheroid body having a grip simulating a bridle bit and adapted to be engaged between a horse's upper and lower teeth. The body is preferably inflatable elastomeric material impregnated or otherwise treatable with a substance to produce an aroma of apple, honey, molasses-containing materials or other food substances attractive to horses. The grip may be configured and located to prevent the body from rolling about its major axis away from a horse.
