  • Patent number: 11921500
Abstract: Technology for generating and displaying a graphical user interface for operating an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is disclosed herein that generates and updates a representation of a spline flight path. In various implementations, a graphical user interface detects user interactions with a remote control device directing the flight control subsystem of the UAV to record keyframes and to compute a spline based on the keyframes during flight. The graphical user interface displays a real-time perspective of the UAV with a representation of the spline and the keyframes overlaying the view. The graphical user interface continually updates the representation as the UAV flies and when the spline is updated as the keyframes are updated.

  • Patent number: 11913744
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and techniques for an attachment that can be fastened to a gun. The attachment may include a top surface having a longitudinal axis and an aiming sight that is parallel with the longitudinal axis, a front surface having a latitudinal axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, the front surface including a muzzle aperture, a left surface, a right surface, and a fastening system. The fastening system may include a first mounting aperture of the left surface, a second mounting aperture of the right surface, and a locking pin capable of being positioned in the first mounting aperture and in the second mounting aperture such that the locking pin fastens the attachment to the gun. The attachment may be fastened to the gun such that the longitudinal axis is parallel with a longitudinal bore axis of the gun.

  • Publication number: 20110263470
Abstract: The invention provides a lubricating composition containing an oil of lubricating viscosity and a block copolymer. The block copolymer may contain (a) a hydrophobic first block having C1-30 alkyl (meth)acrylic units, wherein at least 50 wt % of the C1-30 alkyl (meth)acrylic units are C12-15 alkyl (meth)acrylic units, and up to 50 wt % of the C1-30 alkyl (meth)acrylic units are C16 20 alkyl (meth)acrylic units, with the proviso that alkyl groups of the C1-30 alkyl (meth)acrylic units have an average total number of carbon atoms of at least 8; and (b) a second block having (meth)acrylic units further having a heteroatom-containing group providing a polar group. The invention further relates to a method of lubricating an internal combustion engine by lubricating the engine with the lubricating composition. The invention further relates to the use of the block copolymer as an emulsifier and/or pour point depressant.

  • Patent number: 7772171
Abstract: An internal combustion engine with a catalyst-containing exhaust-gas aftertreatment device is lubricated with a composition of a base oil; and a zinc salt of a mixture of phosphorus-containing compounds having hydrocarbyl groups R1 and R2 where the average total number of carbon atoms in R1 plus R2 for the mixture of phosphorus-containing compounds is at least 9.5, where 4 to 30 weight percent of such groups contain 2 to 4 carbon atoms and where in less than 8 mole percent of the phosphorus-containing molecules in the mixture of phosphorus-containing compounds each of R1 and R2 contain 2 to 4 carbon atoms.

  • Publication number: 20050166868
Abstract: Internal combustion engines exhibit improved efficiency of the emissions control system by using a lubricating oil composition of a base oil, an alkali or alkaline earth metal-containing detergent; a metal salt of one or more phosphorus-containing compounds represented by the formula (I), wherein X1 and X2 are independently O or S, and R1 and R2 are independently hydrocarbyl groups, the average total number of carbon atoms in R1 and R2 for the one or more phosphorus-containing compounds being at least 10.4; and an acylated nitrogen-containing compound having at least about 10 alphatic carbon atoms and a TBN of at least about 2; the lubricating oil composition being characterized by a phosphorus concentration of up to about 0.12% by weight and the substantial absence of copper, thereby generating a lean-phosphorus containing exhaust gas.
