  • Patent number: 7277416
Abstract: In existing standards for packet data communication over enhanced cellular networks, for a subscriber having a static address, the network relies on the terminal to provide the static address. Consequently, the terminal needs to know (be programmed with) its own static address and typically the address of a home agent element of the network. To eliminate the attendant need to provision such address data in the mobile station, the static address is stored in a node of the network, and the network assigns that one address to the mobile station, every time when the subscriber requests packet data service, for example, using a mobile IP (MIP) type address assignment procedure. The address assignment operation may also provide the home agent address to the station.

  • Publication number: 20040178597
Abstract: A tricyclic scooter is composed of a steering post, a handle, a fork, a front wheel, a link assembly, and two treadle assemblies. The handle includes a steering column inserted into the steering post and a gripping portion. The fork to which the front wheel is rotatably connected is positioned at a bottom side of the steering post and connected with the handle. The link assembly is pivotably connected with the post. The two treadle assemblies are connected with the link assembly. While the handle is swung sidewards, the front wheel and the two rear wheels can be driven to lean sidewards by the link assembly. Accordingly, the tricyclic scooter can be propelled not only by feet to travel at high speed but also by swinging the handle sidewards to travel at higher speed.

  • Patent number: 6364816
Abstract: An arm-building device comprises a frame having a coupling portion. Two engagement members are rotatably mounted on the frame such that they are meshed with each other. The engagement members are provided with a connection portion and a pivoting portion. Two operation rods are connected with the connection portions of the engagement members. Two traction members are pivotally fastened with the pivoting portions of the engagement members such that the traction members are pivoted at one end thereof by a bolt. A resilient member is connected at one end with the coupling portion of the frame and is fixed at other end by the bolt. The two operation rods are actuated by hands of an exerciser, so as to actuate the engagement members to rotate to cause the two traction members to displace upward to stretch the resilient member. A recovery spring force is thus brought about by the stretched resilient member to work against both arms of the exerciser.
