    Abstract: A rotating dovetail attachment mechanism for connecting a modular provisional augmentation block to the distal surface of a provisional tibial tray. The augmentation block has lateral components which contact a vertical surface on a prepared bone. The rotating dovetail attachment mechanism permits the block to be used with a stemmed tibial implant provisional by rotating the lateral components of the augmentation block around the stem during connection of the provisional block to the provisional tibial component.
