  • Patent number: 9622548
Abstract: A one-handed connector apparatus includes a male portion that is receivable in a female portion. The male portion includes a plurality of protuberances that extend from a base and that are receivable in a receptacle formed in the female portion. A compressive force applied to an outboard one of the protuberances deflects the outboard protuberance toward an inboard protuberance and causes the outboard and inboard protuberances to together be elastically deflected from a first position to a second position. In the first position, a set of first latching structures situated on the protuberances are in an interference position with a set of corresponding second latching structures that are situated on the female portion. In the second position, the first latching structures are moved out of the interference position, thereby permitting the male portion to be removed from the female portion.

  • Publication number: 20170079238
Abstract: A pet cabana includes a base section, a wall section, a roof section, and a gathered material layer. The base section forms a bottom portion of the pet cabana. The wall section is attached to a periphery of the base section and extends upward from the base section. The roof section is attached to an upper periphery of the wall section such that the roof section is disposed above the base section when the base section rests on a horizontal surface. The base section, the wall section, and the roof section define an interior space. The gathered material layer is attached liberally to an interior surface of at least one of the wall section and the roof section such that the gathered material layer includes at least one freely hanging portion that droops from the interior surface within the interior space.

  • Publication number: 20160249584
Abstract: A pet feeding apparatus includes an enclosure, a bowl and a container. The enclosure has a first portion and a second portion, is movable between a closed state and an open state, and has an interior region disposed generally between the first and second portions in the closed state. The bowl is disposed within the interior region and configured to be movable between a collapsed configuration when the enclosure is in the closed state and a deployed configuration when the enclosure is in the open state. The container is affixed to the first portion and having an internal region configured to retain object therein, the container having an opening that is in communication with the storage region, the container being movable between a first state that permits the object to be received through the opening and a second state that resists movement of the object through the opening.
