    Abstract: According to the present invention there is provided slurrying apparatus comprising a rotatable drum arranged for rotation about its longitudinal axis and including a slurrying chamber portion so arranged that when the drum is rotated feed material passes from an inlet of the slurrying chamber portion to a discharge chamber portion of the drum in which slurry and fine particles are separated from coarser particles and are discharged separately, and rotation means for causing rotation of the drum.
