Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide computer-implemented methods, computer program products and computer systems. Embodiments of the present invention can monitor user activity for one or more user interactions performed while connected to a Virtual Private Network. Embodiments of the present invention can then identify potential risks associated with a user and respective user interactions. Embodiments of the present invention can then, in response to determining a respective user interaction of the one or more interactions is suspicious, generate a real time risk score for the respective user interaction. Embodiments of the present invention can then, in response to the generate real time risk score exceeding a threshold level of risk for the respective user interaction, initiate a secondary authentication protocol.

  • Publication number: 20220417742
Abstract: Techniques are described that enable onboarding of a plurality of heterogeneous client devices with secure access to a wireless network using a network management system (NMS). The NMS has a memory to store a plurality of private pre-shared keys (PPSKs), where each PPSK is provisioned for a particular client device or a particular group of client devices. In response to a key lookup request from an access point (AP) device for a client device, the NMS performs a key lookup and, in response to identifying a PPSK provisioned for the client device, authenticates the client device to access the wireless network via the AP device. The NMS then manages one or more of tracking the client device, policy application to the client device, or handling of network traffic from the client device while connected to the wireless network using the PPSK as an identifier of the client device.

  • Publication number: 20220330047
Abstract: Techniques are described that detect areas with insufficient radio frequency (RF) coverage in a wireless network. A network management system (NMS) determines one or more service level expectation (SLE) metrics for each client device in a wireless network. The SLE metrics are aggregated to each access point (AP) in the wireless network, and each AP is assigned an AP score based on the aggregated SLE metrics. To identify potential coverage holes, the NMS groups APs having poor AP scores. If a root cause of the poor AP scores cannot be automatically resolved and if the poor AP scores persist for a predetermined period of time, the group of APs is determined to represent a true coverage hole. The NMS may generate a notification regarding recommended corrective actions to the customer and/or IT personnel.

  • Publication number: 20220301087
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and a computer program product for optimizing groupings in a breakout session in a virtual classroom. A computer retrieves profiles of students in the virtual classroom, where the profiles of the students include data of academic performances of the students. The computer retrieves a known correspondents archive which includes historic data of productivities correlated to interactions among the students. In response to initialization of the breakout session in the virtual classroom, the computer determines optimal groups that yield most productive results, based on the profiles of the students, the known correspondents archive, and requirements of group settings given by an instructor, using a machine learning model. The computer provides the instructor with the optimal groups. In another embodiment, the computer analyzes context of customized assignments for the breakout session and determines the optimal groups further based on the context to the customized assignments.
