    Abstract: According to the invention, a conveyor belt, especially fit for application in a water jet cutter, consists of a number of distanced strip-shaped members extending transversally to the conveyor belt. The edge of the strip-shaped member defining the transporting surface of the conveyor belt is provided with a serrated profile. Thus, rebounding of a waterjet is effectively prevented.
