  • Patent number: 7467905
Abstract: An applicator may include a support with a longitudinal axis. The support may include a stem, and a deformable portion including a first end and a second end, the deformable portion being arranged to deform elastically in a radial direction when a distance between the first and second ends is varied. The applicator may also include an applicator member fitted to the deformable portion between the first and second ends and extending continuously around the deformable portion. An adjuster element may be provided that is movable about at least the axis relative to the support and that is arranged to adjust the distance between the first and second ends of the deformable portion.

  • Patent number: 7429141
Abstract: A packaging and applicator device which is particularly advantageous for a cosmetic product. The arrangement includes a container incorporating an aperture and a cap intended to close the container aperture. The cap is connected to an applicator by a rod and a resilient means of return. The rod incorporates a first portion having a lengthwise axis. In one example, the applicator is connected by a pivot zone to the first portion, and the resilient means of return is arranged so as to constrain the pivot zone such that the applicator is caused to form a non-zero angle relative to the lengthwise axis.

  • Publication number: 20070044488
Abstract: A cooling device and assembly including a cooling device which can cool a packaged product prior to use. According to an example, a pressurized container containing a coolant is located between a base and a support such that relative movement between the base and support causes actuation of a valve of the container. The support supports a packaging device for the product. In addition, one or more advantageous expedients are provided for better cooling. For example, the valve is preferably axially on a side of the packaging device opposite a side having an opening for access to a cosmetic product. In addition, or alternately, the valve preferably does not have a diffuser. As a further alternative, or in addition to the foregoing, the valve opens out into a housing closed off by a cover.

  • Patent number: 7172356
Abstract: A packaging and dispensing device for a friable product, in particular a cosmetic product. The device includes a hollow base, and a cup intended to accommodate the product in a well. The cup includes at least one lug on a stem fixed below the well. The lug is flexible and engages with a helical groove in the inner wall of the base. The lug can be disengaged from the groove, in particular at the ends of the groove. The arrangement allows “free” rotation in a plane orthogonal to an axis of the spiral. The device includes a sleeve mounted in free rotation about the base, whereas it is fixed in rotation with the cup. The cup moves axially as a function of rotation of the sleeve relative to the base.

  • Publication number: 20040222315
Abstract: A spray device includes a spray mechanism and a reservoir containing a substance for spraying. For example, the substance may be a cosmetic or other care product. The reservoir is arranged so as to be capable of being removably mounted on the device so that the substance can be selectively dispensed by the spray mechanism. The reservoir includes a substance outlet passage and a closure member for closing the passage when the reservoir is not mounted on the device. The spray mechanism and the closure member are arranged so that the closure member opens in response to the reservoir being mounted on the device. The reservoir also includes at least a first partition and first and second compartments capable of containing the substance. The compartments are arranged to feed the spray mechanism with the substance and are disposed on either side of the first partition.
