Abstract: A process of chemical cleavage of leather or skins containing chromium The process using sodium, potassium or calcium methylates (CH3O?) or ethylates (CH3CH2O?), producing chromium hydroxide (green paste), ammonium sulfate and liquid fertilizer. The chromium trioxide III (Cr2O3) obtained was used in the production of Fe—Cr alloy. The liquid fertilizer was applied to strawberry, violet and acerola crops, and can be applied to other types of crops. The fertilizer is also compatible with pesticides, being able to compose a composition containing fertilizer and pesticide or even used to obtain products containing fertilizers and pesticides, which allow application in a single step, exempting the process in the field A solid NPK fertilizer formulation obtained by combining N recovered from waste and homogeneously mixed with K and P salts.

  • Publication number: 20230302400
Abstract: The present invention describes a process for capturing CO2 using an optimized mixture of water and alcohols with alkali hydroxides, such as KOH and NaOH, for absorption of CO2 from gaseous mixtures. The process shows high efficiency and low volatility and corrosivity rate of the solvent, in addition to allowing cost reduction for installation and maintenance of reactors and reducing solvent loss. The present invention also describes a process for regenerating solvent or its reuse, carried out by chemical precipitation, continuously and not in batch, through the reaction with alkaline earth oxides, such as CaO and MgO, and/or alkaline earth hydroxides, such as Ca(OH)2 and Mg(OH)2, for the formation of carbonates, such as CaCO3 and MgCO3, which can be discarded in nature without any environmental issue or can be used commercially in industry or agriculture.

  • Publication number: 20230080299
Abstract: A teeth whitening based on the generation of active oxygen in the form of oxygen radical species in situ and method for producing the whitening gel which has modified niobium compounds and its activity maximized if applied with hydrogen peroxide in low concentrations, with stabilization by a thickener. The whitening gel can be used without light treatment and with greater efficiency than commercial products and with a significant potential to reduce side effects. The whitening toothpaste and gels including modified niobium compounds associated with cations, the mechanisms of whitening action comes from electronic excitation, from the incidence of radiation on niobium compounds with cations, due to the action of the functional chemical groups present in the nanoparticles, even in the absence of light. In addition, the compounds can act as chemical whiteners, leading to a decrease in caries bacteria due to the oxidant functional groups in the nanoparticles.

  • Publication number: 20220062860
Abstract: The present invention describes a process for producing nanostructured material, produced from polymer waste doped with alkaline metals and/or alkaline earth metals, which is capable of capturing and storing CO2. The process for obtaining the material uses waste generated by the polymer industry and is therefore environmentally sustainable. The product produced, that is, the nanostructured material, shows high CO2 absorption capacity, being able to absorb up to 80% by weight in mass in CO2. In addition, the product produced shows low density, an important characteristic for application in vehicles. Therefore, the product obtained can be used for capturing and storing CO2 emitted by different emission sources, mainly mobile sources such as vehicles, but can also be used in industries such as the mining industry, oil industry, inter alia, in addition to the automotive industry.

  • Patent number: 9724671
Abstract: The present invention describes the process of preparing ceramics for the absorption of ACIDIC gases, which worsen the greenhouse effect, that are released in combustion systems, or that are present in closed environments. In relation to carbon dioxide, principal target of the present invention, the process of absorption, transport, processing and transformation of the gas into other products is described. The process uses ceramic materials prepared through the solid mixture of one or more metallic oxides, with one or more binding agents and an expanding agent. The product generated can be processed and the absorbent system regenerated. The carbon dioxide obtained in the processing can be used as analytic or commercial carbonic gas, various carbamates and ammonium carbonate.
