  • Patent number: 5524890
Abstract: A golf club is disclosed herein having aerodynamic characteristics reducing drag resistance to maintain maximum head speed which includes a head having a front face with a top surface and an undersurface rearwardly sloping together to define a tapered back face. The sides of the head slope in convergence from the top surface to the undersurface. A pair of open-ended arcuate passageways are provided in the head substantially in parallel with a round opening at the front face and terminating in an oval exit at the back face. The radius of the arcuate passageways lies on the radius of the golfer's swing and a pointer is located on the top surface adjacent the front face to indicate alignment with sweet spot location on the front face. The undersurface includes a pair of ridges defining a central groove and opposite side grooves with terminations at the oval exits of the passageways.

  • Patent number: 5370470
Abstract: An ink film tension device for applying a tension to an ink film used in a color video printer comprising a fixed shaft fixedly mounted to a reel bracket, a resilience member rotatably mounted to the fixed shaft, a reel body rotatably mounted to the fixed shaft and operatively connected to the ink film, and a felt interposed between the reel hub and the reel body and adapted to operatively connect the reel body to the reel hub. The resilience member has one end fixedly mounted to the reel bracket and the other end having a protruded bent portion. The reel hub has a support hole for receiving the other end of the resilience member. To the reel bracket is mounted a stopper which is adapted to selectively engage with the protruded bent portion of the other end of the resilience member, for limiting the torsion of the resilience member and thus maintaining a tension of a predetermined level at the resilience member.

  • Patent number: 5278677
Abstract: A device for removing document jamming generated at a platen roller and a contact image sensor of a facsimile comprising sensor brackets mounted to opposite ends of the contact image sensor and pivotally mounted to both sides of a main frame of the body of the facsimile, so as to pivotally move the contact image sensor, each of the sensor brackets having an operating portion, and cam members each having a cam surface being in contact with the operating portion of the corresponding sensor bracket. Each cam member pivotally moves the contact image sensor between its operation position where it is in contact with the platen roller and its document jamming removal position where it is separated from the platen roller to form a gap therebetween. An actuating lever is connected to the cam members for moving it between a first position corresponding to the operation position of the cam members and a second position corresponding to the document jamming removal position.

  • Patent number: 5277502
Abstract: A device for loading an ink film and printing papers in a color video printer. The loading device comprises an integrated-type container for containing both of ink film and printing papers therein. The integrated-type container comprises an ink film cartridge portion formed at one side of the container, a printing papers receiving chamber formed at the other side of the container, and a guide opening formed between said ink film cartridge portion and said chamber. A printing paper guiding plate is fixedly mounted to the upper portion of the printer body in the interior of the printer body in order to guide the printing paper fed from the printing papers receiving chamber to the guide opening formed at the container.

  • Patent number: 4752829
Abstract: An image sensor is disclosed which is capable of handling large amounts of signal charge with small shift registers. The image sensor includes photoelements 10 in which charge is accumulated in response to sensed conditions; electrically-controllable transfer gates 20 adjacent the photoelements 10 for controllably releasing the charge from the photoelements; vertical shift registers 30, separated from the photoelements 10 by the transfer gates 20, for receiving the charge from the photoelements, and a scan generator connected to the barrier 20 for supplying a series of pulses thereto, a group of pulses being required to release all of the charge accumulated in the photoelements 10.
