    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of producing feedstock of high-quality lube based oil by producing coker gas oil (CGO) from vacuum residue (VR) or a mixture (VR/AR) of atmospheric residue (AR) and vacuum residue (VR), performing a hydrotreating process and a hydrocracking process by mixing the coker gas oil (CGO) with vacuum gas oil (VGO) to form unconverted oil (UCO), and then recycling the unconverted oil. The method of producing feedstock of high-quality lube based oil is advantageous in that feedstock of high-quality lube based oil can be more economically and efficiently produced using cheap coker gas oil (CGO), which is hard to treat.

The control unit operates to sense vibration of the image capturing device through a separate vibration sensor and to drive the y-axis driver and the x-axis driver to vibrate the image sensor in a way to compensate for the vibration of image capturing device.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a liquid phase adsorption process for removing and concentrating heteroatom compounds in hydrocarbons (HCH), comprising the steps of adsorption, copurging and regeneration. In the adsorption step, a liquid hydrocarbon stream is fed to an adsorber, which adsorbs HCH and returns adsorption effluent. In the copurging step, HCH, which are extracted from the previous regeneration, are applied to the adsorber, displacing the copurging effluent. In the regeneration step, a polar solvent is flowed through the adsorber, purging HCH. Most of the HCH are then set aside for use in the next copuring step, while a small amount of the HCH are taken out from the process as HCH product. The present invention is economically advantageous in effectively removing HCH from hydrocarbon streams and increasing the concentration of HCH within an HCH product.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an additional air supply duct which is additionally installed at the inlet duct connected to an exhaust duct of a gas turbine of a combined-cycle power generation apparatus, for providing the air required for additional combustion in the duct burner of a heat recovery steam generator. The air supply duct of a heat recovery steam generator according to the present invention diverges to left and right at the upper side of the real portion of the inlet duct connected to the exhaust duct of the gas turbine, and the terminal parts thereof, facing each other in a staggered manner, are respectively installed through the left and right sides of the inlet duct. Further, the penetration depth into the inlet duct is set to one eighth of the width of the inlet duct. In this way, uniform distribution of oxygen concentration can be formed at the end face of the entrance of the duct burner, thereby simultaneously achieving flame stability and complete combustion.

    Abstract: A method is provided for manufacturing cleaner fuels, in which NPC (Natural Polar Compounds), naturally existing in small quantities within various petrolic hydrocarbon fractions, are removed from the petrolic hydrocarbon fractions ranging, in boiling point, from 110 to 560° C. and preferably from 200 to 400° C., in advance of catalytic hydroprocessing. The removal of NPC improves the efficiency of the catalytic process and produces environment-friendly products, such as diesel fuel with a sulfur content of 50 ppm (wt) or lower. Also, the NPC can be used to improve fuel lubricity.
