  • Patent number: 9072998
Abstract: A filtering system for dust material transfer is a replacement for current practices at land drilling sites and other operations involving silica dust. While silica dust is being transferred from a delivery truck to a customer tank, the customer tank's vent is connected to a hopper tank inlet duct. The hopper tank outlet is connected to the inlet of a dust filter. An visual indicator bag provides a visual indication of pressure within the system. A plurality of sensors, a plurality of flow control valves, a processor, a power source and a control panel provide means for electronic operation. A blower is connected to a cleaning inlet of the hopper tank in order to clean the hopper tank. Bypass ducts are connected from the hopper inlet duct straight to the dust filter in order to bypass the hopper tank during tank cleaning.

  • Patent number: 5734837
Abstract: The invention is a method and system which provides consultants, business process analysts, and application developers with a unified tool with which to conduct business process analysis, design, documentation and to generate business process definitions and workflow-enabled applications. The invention may be implemented using a software system which has two functional sets. One is a set of graphical tools that can be used by a developer or business analyst to map out business processes. The second is a set of tools that can be used to document and specify in detail the attributes of each workflow definition, including roles, cycle time, conditions, of satisfaction, cost and value, associated text, forms, application data as well as detail the attributes of links between workflows required to complete a business process map, and to generate a business process definition and a workflow-enabled application.

  • Patent number: 5537687
Abstract: A protective facial mask system having an outer, high impact, rigid layer (of, e.g., polycarbonate) and an inner, flexible, relatively soft layer of energy absorption and dissipating material (e.g. an unaerated viscoelastic polymer). The inner, soft layer preferably has variable or different thicknesses of material (e.g., going from about an eighth of an inch minimum to about a quarter inch maximum thickness), affording greater protection to facial areas where the underlying bone structure is weaker (e.g., the nasal region), which is where in the invention the inner layer is thickest, and thinner where the bone structure is stronger (e.g. over the flanking, supra-orbital/glabella regions). The inner soft layer thereby best absorbs, redirects and dissipates the energy from impact forces to the face, protecting the facial skeleton from, for example, fracturing. The mask, in all three of its embodiments (FIGS. 1 & 2, FIGS. 3 & 4, and FIGS.
