Abstract: A board game and method of implementing the game comprise displaying a squared oblong rectangular game board comprising a width comprising at least eight squares. A set of chess type game pieces on the game board are displayed. The chess type game pieces represent at least a standard set of black and white chess pieces. The chess type game pieces are initially arranged for beginning play by placement of black pieces in an order comprising a standard chess order at a first end of the game board with white pieces being placed at an opposing second end of the game board in an order comprising a the chess standard order. Game play is enabled by one or more users following at least a standard set of chess rules.
