  • Publication number: 20100021276
Abstract: A tilting platform includes lengthwise extending beams with oppositely sloping bottom surfaces extending in from either end. A wheel supporting dolly assembly has inclined pieces on which forward beam bottom surfaces rest. A drive system shifts the dolly assembly forward from an intermediate position along the platform to allow the rear end of the platform to swing down and swings the platform back up when the dolly assembly is shifted back to the intermediate position to level the platform after loading.

  • Publication number: 20070114503
Abstract: The present invention is a portable wire pulling device that receives and utilizes the rotational power and control features and functions of a cordless, battery-operated electric hand drill to selectively drive a rotatable reel of the portable wire pulling device with sufficient torque and speed to efficiently and quickly pull a wire thereby. The wire pulling device has a frame configured to rotatably carry and selectively position a take-up reel, and a drive interface coupled to the reel and having an input drive shaft configured to receive the hand drill for applying rotational power to the drive mechanism to rotate the reel. No on-site power is needed. The frame extends from a folded position into an upright position and into an angled position in order to pull wire for different applications.

  • Patent number: 6016049
Abstract: The invention provides a method of and an implementing assembly for shifting the transmission 12 of a vehicle having a battery 24 between park and various shift positions with a reversible motor 10 by supplying electrical energy from the battery 24 to the motor 10 to shift the transmission 12 in response to a shift selection 14 and characterized by storing electrical energy in a super capacitor 20 and transmitting that electrical energy stored in the capacitor 20 to the motor 10 for actuating the motor 10. The capacitor is placed in parallel with the battery 24 for charging the capacitor and in series with the battery 24 and the motor 10 to transmit the stored energy of the capacitor to the motor 10. The capacitor 20 stores sufficient electrical energy to actuate the motor 10 independently of the battery 24.

  • Patent number: 5224682
Abstract: An air drill holding mechanism has a support member, a workpiece mount, a drill mount, and a guide and feed means. The support member is mounted to a bracket for mounting the support to a work piece, and supports an air drill in position for drilling into a work piece. The drill mount is mounted to the support member and clamps an air drill to the mechanism. The guide and feed means is also mounted to the support member and functions to feed and guide the drill into the workpiece.
