  • Publication number: 20240116000
Abstract: An immersed membrane cassette has a high tank intensity achieved by one or more of: reduced module to module gap; using structural hollow tubing in at least parts of a frame in place of separate permeate and/or air pipes; and, using vertical permeate port connections. The cassette has a tank intensity over 650 m2/m2. The cassette may be combined with a fine screen. This specification also describes an immersed membrane module having a permeate port and/or connector on the top of a header. The permeate connection between the module and a permeate collection tube may be vertical, i.e. perpendicular to the length of the header. A piston seal may be used between the permeate port of the header and the permeate collection tube. • Patent number: 10901190
Abstract: A digital camera optically couples a monocentric lens to image sensor arrays, without optical fibers, yet shields the image sensor arrays from stray light. In some digital cameras, baffles are disposed between an outer surface of a monocentric lens and each image sensor array to shield the image sensor arrays from stray light. In other such digital cameras, an opaque mask defines a set of apertures, one aperture per image sensor array, to limit the amount of stray light. Some digital cameras include both masks and baffles.

  • Publication number: 20200197840
Abstract: A method of air scouring an immersed membrane is described in this specification. The method comprises a step of adjusting one or more aeration parameters during a permeation cycle, or between a permeation cycle and a back pulse or relaxation cycle, or between successive cycles. The method may be used with a gas delivery device described in this specification in which a supply of gas is provided to a manifold with multiple ports connected to multiple conduits. The method may further comprise bringing a flow of pressurized gas into a tank to near or below the bottom of a membrane module. At about this elevation, the flow of pressurized gas is split into multiple flows of pressurized gas. Each of the multiple flows of pressurized gas is directed to a different lateral position and then released as bubbles.

  • Publication number: 20170078840
Abstract: Techniques are provided herein for utilizing a dynamic geo-fence management engine. The techniques include receiving a set of parameters corresponding to a virtual geographic perimeter. A user may be determined based at least in part on a geographical location of the user and the set of parameters corresponding to the virtual geographic perimeter. A notification for the user may be generated, the notification being formatted according to a push notification service protocol the notification including the set of parameters. The notification may be provided to a remote computing device. Receipt of the notification by the remote computing device may cause the remote computing device to provide, to the user, information related to the virtual geographic perimeter.

  • Publication number: 20080208881
Abstract: A user, seeking to modify an established content play list will enter an alteration request specifying the desired alterations, which can include the deletion and/or addition of content as well as alteration of the content order. A user profile (127) authenticates the user to determine whether the user has the authority to alter the established play list and if so, for which subset of locations. Following user authentication, the established play list undergoes modification for the subset of locations for which the user is authorized to alter the content play list. In this way, a user can locally modify an established play list to add and/or alter content, based on that user's profile, without altering the content at other locations.
