  • Publication number: 20210235818
Abstract: Article and method are provided to increase surface friction and gription of shoelaces and bootlaces to prevent untying of the knots of shoelaces and bootlaces and make the surfaces of the shoelaces and bootlaces bitter in taste to deter pets from chewing them. An applicator comprising a wax-based compound formulated from vegetable oils, beeswax, coconut oil and bitter apple extract increases the surface friction and gription of shoelaces and bootlaces as well as make them bitter in taste for pets when applied on the surfaces of the shoelaces and bootlaces. The wax-based compound of the applicator may also function as water and moisture repellant on the surfaces of footwear, garments, and sports equipment in addition to shoe and boot laces under all types of conditions and climates.

  • Publication number: 20090039119
Abstract: Bottle carriers for transporting liquids in glass bottles or other breakable containers may be either flexible or rigid and provide leak-proof containment for any spillage of the contents of the breakable container. Flexible bottle carriers have a leak proof bag and a wrap that provides additional cushioning and protection to the contents as well as provides an aesthetically appealing covering. Rigid and semi-rigid bottle carriers have two segments that are capable of interlocking to form a reservoir for containing a glass bottle or other breakable container and which are leak-proof. Rigid and semi-rigid bottle carriers may additionally be nestable or collapsible for ease in transporting the empty carrier.

  • Publication number: 20050276270
Abstract: An automated system, device, computer program product, and method of selectively recording media data generated during a round-table meeting is provided. In the system, one or more media devices capture media data and generate three or more concurrent media inputs having various formats from the captured media data. One or more connection devices connect the one or more media devices to a recorder. The recorder receives the three or more concurrent media inputs, selects three or more of the received media inputs to record to a memory, encodes any of the selected three or more media inputs to form a media stream if the selected media input is not in a media stream format, and records the selected media streams to the memory. Additionally, the recorder may synchronize, index, and/or time stamp the selected three or more media streams before the media streams are recorded to the memory. The recorder further may enable one or more of the media devices for use by a consumer.
