Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of machines for cleaning, particularly vacuum cleaning devices. There is disclosed a filter cartridge for a vacuum cleaner comprising first and second opposite end walls, a side wall or walls which extend between the end walls so as to define an enclosure which surrounds a filter interior, wherein one or more of the walls comprises filter membrane material, the cartridge having an opening provided through the first end wall for receiving air-entrained detritus into the interior, the opening being defined by a rigid support structure which spans and supports the first end wall of the cartridge. The cartridge typically includes a non-return valve which closes when suction is removed so as to help prevent collected detritus escaping from the filter cartridge interior. • Publication number: 20240161501
Abstract: In one embodiment, a device represents spatial characteristics of an object depicted in video data over time as one or more timeseries. The device associates different portions of the one or more timeseries with behavioral regimes of the object. The device generates ground truth labels for frames of the video data based on changes in the behavioral regimes of the object associated with those frames. The device trains a self-supervised model to detect an event depicted in the video data using the ground truth labels and their associated frames.

  • Publication number: 20240149129
Abstract: A launch wheel of a ball-throwing machine including a coupling insert that includes one or more coupling mechanisms configured to clamp onto a motor shaft. Deflectable arms of the coupling mechanism are drawn together via a screw extending along a chord of the coupling insert. A manufacturing process of the wheel frame includes over-molding a wheel frame onto the coupling insert. End portions of the coupling insert extend beyond a hub of the wheel frame and include a smooth surface configured define a shut-off interfaces with an injection mold for the wheel frame. Each smooth surface extends inward from its respective end of the coupling insert beyond a corresponding coupling mechanism. A centralized knurled portion of an outside circumferential surface ensures secure attachment of the coupling insert with the wheel frame resulting from the over-molding process. Lateral and longitudinal slits extending partially through the coupling insert define the deflectable arms.
