  • Publication number: 20240115810
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to medicament injection devices. An injection device includes: a movable dosage programming component comprising a rotary encoder system having a predefined angular periodicity, a sensor arrangement including a first optical sensor configured to detect movement of the movable dosage programming component relative to the sensor arrangement during dosing of a medicament, wherein the first optical sensor is configured to operate in a strobe-sampling mode at a first frequency, a second optical sensor configured to detect movement of the rotary encoder system relative to the second optical sensor wherein the second optical sensor is configured to operate in a strobe-sampling mode at a second frequency lower than the first frequency, and a processor arrangement configured to, based on the detected movement, determine a medicament dosage administered by the injection device.

  • Publication number: 20240086243
Abstract: Systems and methods for are provided for offloading computing tasks from constrained devices. An example apparatus includes an offload computing protocol (OCP) enabled device. The OCP enabled device includes OCP extensions to the operating system to enable the offloading of computing tasks. A proximity locator may use a radio transceiver to locate an OCP device that can accept a computing task. The OCP enabled device may include an OCP bundle comprising code and data, wherein the OCP bundle is to be sent to the OCP device.

  • Patent number: 6772234
Abstract: A processing and information storage system having a processor with a communication port, and a removably connectable storage medium connected to the communication port. Control logic is implemented whereby, at the beginning of a write cycle, an information flag is transmitted by the processor for storage in the storage medium. The information desired to be stored in the storage medium is then transmitted by the processor. The control logic then performs a test to determine whether or not the storage medium is still connected to the communication port. If the test indicates that the storage medium is still connected, then the information flag is removed from the storage medium.

  • Patent number: 4434426
Abstract: The device consist of a latching, nonreciprocal ferrite phase shifter, a ching Faraday rotator, a radiating element and the required matching transformers combined into a single unit used as a phased array element. The phase shift is provided by a toroid type non-reciprocal ferrite phase shifter. The polarization rotation is provided by an axially magnetized ferrite filled waveguide. The impedance matching between the sections is achieved with ceramic transformers. This device provides full polarization control.
