  • Patent number: 11983067
Abstract: A method includes determining, by a processing device, a value of a memory endurance state metric associated with a segment of a memory device in a memory sub-system; determining a target value of a code rate based on the value of the memory endurance state metric, and adjusting the code rate of the memory device according to the target value, wherein the code rate reflects a ratio of a number of memory units designated for storing host-originated data to a total number of memory units designated for storing the host-originated data and error correction metadata.

  • Publication number: 20240144299
Abstract: Real-time busyness information is for a public place is computed in a privacy-sensitive way, and provided for display in relation to historical busyness information. An aggregate amount of real-time location information available for a particular public place is measured (410), and used to determine (420) whether the public place is privacy-qualified. If the public place is privacy-qualified, real-time busyness information is computed (440) for the public place based on the real-time location information. Further, it is determined (450) whether the computed real-time busyness information is accuracy-qualified, based on a comparison of the real-time busyness information to historical busyness information. If both qualifications are met, the real-time busyness information is output (470) for display or to another application.

  • Patent number: 10760792
Abstract: A combustor assembly for a gas turbine engine includes a dome and a deflector positioned adjacent to the dome. One or both of the dome and the deflector define an opening, a component axis extending through the opening, and a radial direction relative to the component axis. The combustor assembly also includes a retainer having an outer member contacting the dome, the deflector or both. The outer member of the retainer defines at least in part a retainer cavity inward of the outer member along the radial direction. The dome, the deflector, or both define a plurality of cooling holes for providing a cooling airflow from the retainer cavity to the opening.

  • Patent number: 10041676
Abstract: A combustor assembly for a gas turbine engine defining an axial direction is provided. The combustor assembly generally includes a liner, an annular dome, and a deflector plate. The liner at least partially defines a combustion chamber. The annular dome defines a first cavity and has a plurality of impingement holes, and the deflector plate defines a conical surface and a flat surface, wherein a plurality of cooling holes are defined through the deflector plate. The annular dome and the deflector plate are positioned together to define a second cavity that is in fluid communication with the first cavity through the plurality of impingement holes.
