  • Publication number: 20230071826
Abstract: A reusable container and reusable container transport system for use thereof. The reusable container may include a container housing (e.g., flexible container or ridged container that is reusable, resealable, and/or the like), a programmable screen (e.g., flexible, electrophoretic, and/or the like), a vacuum housing that may be used to secure the screen and/or the other components (e.g., hold, protect, and/or the like), an energy source (e.g., integral with and/or removeable from the container systems), and/or one or more container systems (e.g., low profile motherboard, or the like). When an entity receives the reusable container, the entity may make a product decision using a user interface, such as a user computer system (e.g. a mobile device). The product decision may include acceptance of a product, return of the product, or sending of an alternate product. Based on the product decision the programmable screen may be updated with alternate transport information.

  • Patent number: 10385239
Abstract: Various carton sealing tapes are disclosed that have a plurality of security features, at least two of which include nanomarker particles having identification indicia visible under about 100 to about 400 times magnification and taggants visible upon exposure to a pre-selected wavelength outside the visible spectrum included in the same or different layers of the tape structure depending upon the selection of the backing material for the substrate of the tape. The carton sealing tapes are also printable for inclusion of a consecutive sequence of coded identification information in the form of a barcode or a 2D code.

  • Publication number: 20170079931
Abstract: Adhesive tapes are disclosed that have a flexible backing conformable to a body part and have a top surface and a bottom surface and a layer of an adhesive composition disposed on the bottom surface of the flexible backing. The adhesive composition is formed from a pressure sensitive adhesive, and a copper metal powder and/or copper metal flakes having an apparent density in the range of 1 g/ml to 4 g/ml suspended throughout the adhesive composition, and may include a thickening agent.

  • Patent number: 8912119
Abstract: Masking tapes that changes color when the tape is rubbed down or dispensed onto an adherend and methods of making such tapes are disclosed herein. The tape includes a backing, a layer of adhesive on the bottom surface of the backing, and a release structure on the top surface of the backing that includes a pressure-chromic indicator and a release layer. The pressure-chromic indicator is characterized in that it is not activated by the pressure applied during the manufacturing process, but is activated by the pressure applied when the tape is rubbed or dispensed onto an adherend.

  • Patent number: 8622332
Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing a roll of material with one hand is disclosed that includes a shaft having a core segment for supporting a roll of material and a handle segment that is integral with the core segment. The handle segment has an annular recess with a collar received therein. The apparatus includes a gripper received over the handle segment of the shaft. The gripper has a cylindrically shaped body defining an open center that has an open upper end and a closed lower end. The gripper is positioned on the handle segment with its open upper end between the collar and the core segment. The shaft is rotatable relative to the gripper and the gripper is hand-compressible to bring the gripper into frictional contact with the shaft to slow or stop the rotation of the shaft.
